Exactly. I'm sick and tired of interviewers who precede each question with 5 minutes of talking, then let us listen for mere 2 minutes to the person interviewed, and the sum it up (mostly painstakingly inaccurate) in 10 minutes.

As men we will end up with old man shoes. It's your legs/feet that will always go first. I have Dad style New Balances. I broke my small toe then I did it again a week later. Threw out my hip, then hips, other leg and lower back. Ended up in my neck. You live and learn. Forget the ER or UC. They will just cap and tape it to the next toe.

nah some people just always have strong accent no matter how long theyve been in a country, depends how chameleon like you are with your voice and personality too really how much you can blend in/conform. I knew a lady at work shes been here for fucking donkeys yet her accent is still strong/heavy she has/speaks english fine good vocabulary but her accent is strong so yh shes never gonna magically sound native, other foreigners i know they been here like 1.5-2years and bam they soak up the accent instantly like they literally sound like there born here got the slang and local accent of the region everything few of them straight up shocked me i was like what the fuck as i mean they literally sounded like theyd lived here there whole lives. Its very individual dependant. I have a feeling if i ever learnt a new language id be one of them odd fucks that always sounded foreign.

Chaplin, David Lean, Omar Sharif, Peter Otoole, Sean Connery are examples of the American dream. They lived their lives the way they wanted and bowed to no one. Arnold is an example of American corruption. He did a lot of things to get to where he was. Arnold was calculated and it's no secret that he even married for power. I respect him for his willpower but he had to sacrifice a lot for things he could have gotten in time. But what he wanted was power and it did not serve him.

@@paulbutler7699 You're right! It's about wealth (income) per inhabitant and social security. In a country like Austria those fields work better than in the US where there is almost no social security. So do Scandinavian countries; they are better than UK and France in terms of social security, wealth per inhabitant and security. But also understand that what Arnold and people in this comment section are talking about is opportunities to achieve something really great in a universal perspective (especially in Entertainment) and become famous and rich. That kind of success level can only be reached in a country like the USA.

If you think of where Arnold started out from, then where he got to - a mega film star and then on to becoming Governor of California, you cannot help but admire the man for his ambition, drive to achieve his dreams and his hard work and tenacity alone. There is also something just so damned likeable about him. I get the sense he doesn't take himself too seriously at all, which is a great quality. Hats off to him!

I felt the very opposite way growing up. As a kid my mom would tell me stories of when she grew up in Germany and of how her and my dad used to live in Germany. So from a very early age I felt as if I belonged in Germany more than I did in America. And that drove me all the way into adulthood to when I eventually joined the Army and I ASKED to be sent to Germany. I got my wish, I lived in Germany for over 5 years and I never wanted to leave. I lived in Mannheim, which is now like a second home to me. Even though I'm not longer there and I'm back in America, I still keep in touch with my friends in Germany and I'm going to be going back as soon as I can.

The thing is, that he really has something rural Austrian about him in this interview. You easily envision him as an old, life-experienced farmer in Styria, handling everything from fully grown bulls to bee hives to agricultural machines with full perfection, knowing everything about every plant and weather condition. I have met such people, and, as “American” he might ever get, I think it is one of the appealing traits of this larger than life man, that his roots are and ever will be a part of him.
