I thought they were nuts after they showed me his pics...how did this hairless human Gorilla developed such magnetism to attract even academically advanced women, I never could understand, especially since in German he rather sounds like a hillbilly w/ total lack of the famous Austrian charm in his Austrian... when he speaks English his Austrian charm is in total bloom & regardless how straight forward honest (aka rude for Americans 😉) he talks, I find him charming. Shyama Kanta bought the leopard and gradually mastered the art of wrestling with the wild cat. He did his first wrestling therewith in Sunamganj. "His extraordinary feat made him to be famous in a short time and the rich and mighty Zamindars widely known for their hunting adventures often challenged Shyama Kanta to prove his mettle by wrestling with freshly trapped wild tigers. He just stayed focused. How his dreams came true. Just with hard work , and dedicated determination . Jesus Christ said," All things are possible to those that believe ". He made mistakes. All humans have made mistakes. Only God is perfect. So I must say, what a inspiration and yes, role model. How do we handle set backs? Do we sit down and feel sorry for our selves ? Do we go out and turn t drugs and alcohol ? Or do we just sit down and figure out how to climb that wall we must go over in the obstacles of life ? He came to America broke. He could not even really speak English. Yet , stayed focused on his dream . This is really amazing if you really think about it.

I like "T. Genisys"; but the only problem I have with it is the same problem with "Dark Fate" . Both films make the plot conclusion to "T2 Judgement Day" somewhat confusing at best that I feel "T3 Rise of the Machines" makes better sense for a the terminator story conclusion.
@francarrey7501 Жыл бұрын
That's how I view it. Terminator 1984 & Terminator 1991 is a perfect conclusion where everything comes full circle especially if they would have used the alternative ending with an old Sarah Connor sitting on a park bench and her son John is grown up and a US Senator. However, the studios wanted the opened ended ending to leave the door open for sequels. T3 makes sense because of the ending. The future is inevitable. T4 was too bland and too serious. T5 was a poor intimation of the first two movies and T6 was disrespectful to the fans, replacing JC with a chick, replacing Arnold with a chick, not having the guts to detached an aging Arnold from the franchise, and lying to the fans who were mislead into believing it was going to a reunion between Arnold, Linda Hamilton, and Edward Furlong. Not deaging him and killing him off in the first five minutes. It was a middle finger to the fans and the fans gave a middle finger to the franchise just like the fans did to Arnold who tells his fans to screw their freedoms because they questioned an experimental shot and now speaks more and more like the party he believed views were facist like his home country. Like Arnold, his rags to riches story, his movies from Conan the Barbarian in the 70s to End of Days at the dawn of the millennium, his success in multiplr areas but on the flip side, he's also a hypocrite who constantly contradicts himself.

@@francarrey7501; In the Sarah Connor chronicles t.v. series, a 15 year old John Connor meets a female T-700 guardian. I wish they brought her back for T4 instead of the Marcus Wright character, that way it would've been the official nod that the S C Chronicles are cannon as the original sequel to the T2 movie, which would have made the T4 movie all the more sense as a movie sequel. I like Sam Worthington and Marcus Wright was an interesting hybrid character, and I always have a thing for hybrid characters, but the female T-700 would be better to the plot point. Come to think on it, the Dani character in Dark Fate looks similar in appearance to the SC Chronicles' T-700 only not as petite looking.

Whatever some may think about Arnie I’ll always admire him as a true picture of what has always been sold to be the American dream. Becoming one of the greatest bodybuilders ever and admired by all in that space, succeeding in the sport as young as he did, and moving to the US and despite struggling with the language starting his business career right away and becoming a millionaire by 25 will never fail to be impressive as a man who genuinely started from scratch. And his Hollywood success despite bucking against every norm to become one of the most highly compensated actor in the world was huge. I’ll always find his decision to run for governor as the most impressive thing though. It was notable to win the run off but winning a full term despite it beinf the first political role he ever held was big. Despite the accusations of it all being a long planned power move I don’t really buy that. I have a hard time seeing what there was to gain above what he already had considering the dude was stepping away from Hollywood after commanding a $30M salary to run for office. And when he won essentially was giving up a career for at least three years where he was typically getting $20M+ a movie to take on the role where he was open to constant criticism and chose to forego the salary thus chose to spend seven or so years to be open to constant criticism for free when he could have easily just continued earning tens of millions to continue in Hollywood. And while he didn’t accomplish all he wanted and left unpopular he did show good intent and accomplished some positive things. To me I’ll always think that was cool in the end. It would’ve been a lot easier to just continue as he had been and just publicly criticize whoever was in office and never do anything about it. Instead he decided to forego what he was doing and try to do it himself and I think whether one agrees with his policies that it is still something to see as a positive thing. And it would be really nice to see a modern politician so open to working across the aisle which doesn’t exist anymore. In the end he’d never be elected as a republican in today’s politics. All in all the man has lived a pretty neat life.

If anyone wants to know the real truth of Arnold's life, read the book by Wendy Leigh called Arnold: The Early Years (The Unauthorized Biography). In fact, Arnold paid millions in lawyer fees to stop her from releasing this book in the early 90s. She went deep into his past in the late 1980s when most of his gym buddies and people who knew him back in the late 1960s and early 70s were still alive and knew him personally. The one thing that she exposed was that Arnold started steroids at 15 years old when he was a teenager. Personally, I don't care... it's just his lies about his reason for doing them and how they (his gym buddies) all got doctor's prescriptions for them. I was alive back then and doing them myself and steroids were in every gym across the world from the 60s to the late 80s & 90s then it all went underground. Those that knew the young Arnold of the late 60s will tell you that version of a bodybuilder who always praised Hitler, and was a known womanizer, and his incredible drive hasn't changed a bit in 55 years, except that old age has taken its toll on his body and looks...something that all of us will be going through.

Ms. Leigh specializes in "hatchet jobs" as we in the business call her books: and extended the ministrations of her poison pen to Sinatra and Liz Taylor as well as others. Much more interested in sensationalism and her own monetary gain, her works are taken as a grain of salt by those in the know. Of which I am one especially were Arnold is concerned. On that score with three critical errors of fact concerning Arnold in its opening from mistaking the order of his actual name {it's Arnold Alios not the other way around,} the statement of seemingly fact that he had homosexual leanings. {Untrue} And take you pick as to erroneous statements about his father, this work too should be treated as a grain of salt. Oh, how do I know? I wss age 9 and Arnold age 21 when we first met. I've enjoyed most of his movies,but the Terminator franchise needs to do nothing but rest for a decade or so.

Way back when I had a few strong man moves and wanted a body bilder for the main roal . And they had a list of bodybuilders that they were considering. They wanted Laue Frigno for the roals . I knew of Aronald Suchinager and what he looked like and i told them that Lue Frigno made a good Incredible Hulk but Arnold was better looking hero and closer to what i had in mind. I forgot the first movie that I had him done but most of the movies were my montages terminator all konan the barberian section book the governor of California there were a few others moves.

I did not know Reg Parks did any of this. I only know him as a crafter of championship title belts. In that world he is to title belts what Carol Shelby is to cars.
