I think it's an evil Angmar men because Arnor was split in into three factions and one of them fought with Angmar so that's my guess is

I could see that... However the symbol on the cape matches the shield on the new Arnor models. If it were Evil Arnorians, I think they would defile their original image? To expand on your idea, I could see the same model being used for both Good and Evil lists. That way it could be Evil Arnorians in service of the Witch King, and Good Arnorians for Arvedui.

I watched a video someone made suggesting new unit/ hero’s and campaign for arnor and angmar. Angmar already has a massive roster as they can take most of the Mordor units! Basically apart from a black numenorian archer for Mordor/angmar then it’s ruhdur men a captain and a troop. Both being two handed wild men/ dunland huskarl units maybe with throwing weapons. There would need to be a good and evil profile for both. For arnor well start with a king profile just the same as Gondor. Then add a prince profile or three separate hero princes for when arnor split up each with a different play style. Then apart from rhudur theirs cardoland and arthaidain. So 2 units something like fiefdoms. Personally I’d like a knight of arthaidain like a swan knight and a sentient of cardoland maybe more of an osgiliath vet if not spear/bow/armour and lastly have a tharbad or anuminas guard either heavy pike or sword.

Im not sure what the new model could be, but i hope to see more expanded on the Arnorian roster!!

In my ideal world for releases for this new supplement besides the stuff we already know we would get maybe an elite troop choice maybe like osgiliath vets in my heart of hearts I would want to say give them good Pikes now that you said it a hobbit hero treating Hobbit archers as like Mercs would be amazing I could see like it named Spirit hero Maybe kind of like that one from bfme but they have a chance weird unique monsters which would be really cool like the hill trolls and werewolves and what not the other thing that I would love to see but probably not going to do but like Army of the Dead type of type Spirit troop

Well they kind of have to bring Aranarth at some point. Would be strange to invent a new hero when there already is a Named Hero in the books that is kind of important and then not bring that hero too. 😂

Great Video. Gw's take on arnor has always felt a bit off, it basically just feels like arthedain, one of the successor states of anor and not the unified kingdom from the earlier period. A super neat legendary legion could have been rhuador, the smallest successor that allied with Angmar. Combining unnamed Arnor heroes and units, Some Angmar units and heroes and perhaps Dunlendings to represent the Hill men of Rhuador. Though it something I don't think we'd ever see since kit bashing is not GWs MO anymore.

Agreed, there is so much GW could expand upon for Arnor AND Angmar. Given the size of the Middle-earth team, it’s probably unrealistic to expect everything from the book to be added.

Do you think they might split Gulavhar from WK and assign him to legendary legion based on monstrosities of Arnor - new models the supplement will introduce like vampires (new bats), werewolves, some new spirit models, hillmen of Rhudaur maybe? @Update Maybe this ragged flag belongs to Arnor veterans?

Splitting off Gulavhar was my first thought when it comes to new LLs. We’ll just have to see! A new Arnor elite is certainly possible. Ian seems to think it will be Angmar-related next.
