Hi I really need your help, I got a Wii U as a gift that came hacked but I’m not sure if I’m running Aroma or tiramisu ! I’m also trying to use plugins like swipswap me But the issue I’m having is that I Can’t get the Plugin Loader to start or initialize by pressing L+Down+- buttons. Ps I can access the home brew store when I click the Mii Maker. Can anyone please help me

It does not work with tiramisu. Aroma only. Did you follow the guide and install aroma?

A real necessary plugin for Wii/GCN games is the enhanced vWii (evWii) it fixes the overscan crop on wii and gcn games as it's slightly zoomed in and blurry by default. It does require configuring to your respective tv in the plugins menu

If I'm understanding correctly, you want to install the plugins as apps on the main menu? I don't think you can, but I think it defeats the purpose when you can just hit the button combo for the plug-in menu. Some of them do have applications though like bloopair

alright so i just got my wiiU modded with aroma and so far minus some small issues like it constantly telling me to sign into nintendo but then not taking the pass or not letting me install dlc as its missing a sigpatch or something. the current annoyance is my ps4 controller syncs without issues but the xbox controller stays in pairing mode till it times out and wont connect. any ideas?

You can check out this video for most of that information kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYWkl3mipJuLpKcsi=qP-wd-03crRsA5nU I'd recommend at minimum a 32 GB SD card and maximum a 128 GB for most uses but you can go bigger than that

I have a fresh guide that I released 2/3 weeks ago for homebrewing the Wii U, so Id definitely check that out. I would also get a decent sized SD card if you plan on playing your games on it, if you can swing it, get a 128 GB SD, if that's Overkill, a 32 GB SD works for most people Definitely add most of these plugins 👆 and maybe make sure you have a wiimote on hand if you want to mess with the vwii

I am stuck at a part.. Ubloader gx thru wiiU will stay stuck on reinitializing devices. Thru wii menu it will work fine. I have the wii hdd on upper USB port and wiiU hdd on, lower USB port which is actually connected to USB hub (externally powered) along with lan adaptor.

Did you have tiramisu properly installed before using the application? You should be able to turn your console off and back on

@bivans84 what happens when you shut down the console, hold x and turn on the console. Does it boot you into the environment loader? If not, I'm going to say you're missing some files on your SD

@BelowAverageGaming I had to boot back into environment loader holding X when I turned the WiiU back on and was able to change back to Aroma. Apparently something is missing in my Tirimisu files. I had just added it so I could use the legacy apps.

Pretty sure there is a setting somewhere in the settings that says something along the lines of "Read games from SD only" Make sure that is unchecked?

If you're doing this on a Wii U, your drive needs to be powered with a y splitter cable and have both USB ports plugged into the back of the Wii U
