In your opinion is the instant pot RICE setting better for making rice or using a manual high pressure 6 minutes?

I always use the rice setting. Its less fuss and always gives the perfect results atleast in my experience :)

I have never used nutricook so i am not sure but i’d recommend 10mins first and do additional time if it still needs more time

If it is starting at 12min then that might be the required time depending on the quantity. Otherwise you can always do low pressure cook for desired time

Normally its 1 cup water to 1 cup of rice but u added more water i guess?

It depends on the rice. For basmati rice more then cups, i follow the finger tip test
