It sounds like a weird main Batman story but a brilliant Elseworlds story.

Or a brilliant 1940's style Batman movie with 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, technology and it'll be dark, mysterious, light, and bright.

This is the most freaking metal origin story I’ve ever heard. I can’t stop thinking about how awesome this is, I wish we could have gotten this so bad!! Year One is one of my favorite comics too and this is a beautifully well crafted adaptation of that story. I must read the script myself sometime. Thanks for sharing!

I would love to see this movie, it sounds awesome. I do wonder if this movie came out too early- I personally don't think people we're ready for this kinda of superhero movie.

I would def be the exec that passed on this. The lack of the traditional first half is a hard pass. The parts where he starts being Batman are solid. But I still prefer Begins and Bruce using existing technology made by his company.

Yes. Both Superman: The Movie and Batman Begins are the greatest epic superhero movies ever made by Warner Bros.

I'm not a fan of this version, but it's gritty & unique for a batman story.

28:20 what year would the Lincoln Continental be (1990; 1980)? I'm guessing it would be an older version to keep the angular aspect of a Batmobile... PS: love your casting choices

"Aronofsky's Batman" - I could see that selling. It'd be awesome if they had the balls to make it an elseworlds tale.

I am afraid it would be too similar to The Batman,it would be like every movie gets darker,kinda feels like a competition to see who can make the darkest knight
@xFuzzyxPicklesx3 жыл бұрын
@@gustavoclarindo101 youre right it doesnt hit the same, if it was made after the goofy batmans it wouldve been more subversive, but EVERY batman iteration in film has been darker and edgier since nolan

10:00 they literally had bruce build his own shit from the equipment taken from foxs department. And the reason why fox hated the sonar concept with the phones was because it was purely immoral. And gordon in batman begins Literally chased down batman the first time theyve seen each other. Its like you dont even know why you hate on these story beats
@wyattmcgee13 жыл бұрын
But this version of Batman’s equipment is very crude, unlike what we saw in Batman Begins. What Batman was doing in TDK was not immoral. Even if you think it was, it’s nothing compared to potentially killing innocents and cops in a big car chase. Gordon didn’t see BATMAN until Batman showed up at his apartment. Before that, Bruce just wore a ski mask. Hardly the same as a freaking bat costume.

It reminds me a little bit of a Batman fan project that I'm working on, one that's essentially a sequel to Joker (2019), I'd be happy to show the Superhero Stuff team what I've done.

I haven’t read this in years but I believe there is one quick passage that says “A man with hair dyed green and a smile on his face” is seen being escorted by GPD in handcuffs” during a scene with Selina talking to someone. Could have been another script entirely but I’m 90% sure it was this one. Clever sequel bait long before anyone else did that.

Thank God this does not got made. Batman is all about dark and light. Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, and Christopher Nolan are the greatest filmmakers of the 1980's, 1990's, and the 2000's. Batman is always about pain, revenge, duality, loss, and fear.

This is what Matt Reeves' "The Batman" thinks it is. Instead, it's just a bloated, self-important, faux edgelord pap.
