These are all worthy projects. I'm not generally a Massey guy, but you pique my interest as you do each one. Good on you. 😊 Yeah, I know it needs stuff. But the thing that caught my ear after the cold start was the valve noise. I don't think that the previous working owner did much maintenance at all. Maybe the tractor was inherited and just run down, or whatever ... I'll be curious to see/hear if you do a full tune-up on that old CAT ? The biggest thing I've noticed in working on 3208's is they like timing. I think the spec is something like 7* IIRC (?), but I seem to remember them running much better at 10~11* initial and the intake valves at spec and the exhaust +0.001" over spec 😁
@jtsbarnngrill68733 ай бұрын
It’ll be getting some attention. For now I need to get the fuel filter changed, get some fresh fuel and let it run! Probably check the valve lash and see how she runs

Never watch professional sports. Does it ever dry up there in Michigan? You made that look easy taking that auger off the JD. Some spendy tires on that 1800! But then...theres no gap like between duals that fill up with mud and fly all over the highway when you need to get home from the field.
@jtsbarnngrill68733 ай бұрын
