Have been a subscriber to your channel for some time now. This is the first time I have ever posted a comment. I tip my hat to you JT for your tenacity. There doesn't seem to be any project that you run away from. On the contrary, you jump in head first and get right to it. Love your restoration projects. Thanks for giving life back to the older equipment so that we may enjoy seeing them on your channel. I get so involved watching your videos, that when they are over, I have to go and wash my hands to get rid of the oil and grease. Keep doing what you are doing and for bringing those farm relics back to life.

If you think the wind blows there try coming down to Oklahoma / Texas Panhandle then you can say the wind blows. You are going to be in the same boat as the rest of us guys. Batteries, Tires, Insurance, and the small repairs is going to drive you nuts before long. LOL P.S. I am with some of the other guys what you do with your money is none of our business however look how you are helping the local economy.

Possums are great critters to have around. They eat thousands of ticks and are very clean animals. My vet is in her 60s and has been a vet since she graduated from college. I mentioned in passing that possums are immune to the rabies virus and she quickly corrected me saying that it is technically possible for possums to contract the rabies virus. I asked her if in her 40 years of being a veterinarian did she have any firsthand knowledge of a possum contracting rabies and she hesitated and said no. In 22 years of living on our land I’ve had to put down numerous raccoons and one fox that were obviously sick with rabies. I don’t ever see a possum except when the persimmon trees are hanging full or my shop cat doesn’t eat all of his kibble. Possums love seafood flavored cat food, chicken salad, BBQ chicken, and stale glazed donuts. OKAY, so maybe I have been guilty of leaving scraps for one… 👍for the content.
@jtsbarnngrill6873Ай бұрын
I always let the possums go, they are harmless and like you said, eat all the tics and that’s good in my book 😉

Looks like a nice old grain truck. Might need to see if your wife wants to drive grain truck to the elevator, the International is a pretty easy truck to drive and operate. My uncle had 3 or 4 little grain trucks before he just hired semi trucks to transport the grain. The Forklift made a huge transformation with a tune up, carb and oil change. I laugh every time I hear the Kung-Fuberator comment. Thanks for the videos JT.

Hey JT , I rebuilt a 82 S2100 IH. DT466, 5 speed with a 2 speed rear axle. When it came time for tires I went to two local School Bus companies. Both had the Dayton style wheels in 22.5". The first gave me three refurbished wheels that were headed for the scrap pile and sold me the steer axle tires for $50 each. The other had 4 mounted 22.5 wheels and tires for the drive axle. $200. A local truck salvage outfit will sell the 22.5 rims all day for $25 each. I busted all the 20" tires off the rims and scrapped them. One was rusted almost all the way around! Old split rims equals trouble. Thanks and be safe!😊

Excellent video JT :) also how know got right RPM on low idle is in if 4 cylinders hear 4 taps each for on exhaust rain cap in 15 seconds got right on money if 6 cylinders motor hear 12 taps in 30 seconds got right on money too that how my late Uncle taught me on old Cockshutt 40 and my dad on his 1968 McCormick International 105C combine gas motor both had and both didn't have RPM gauge! Sounds funny and weird but helpful to ! Also nice International Loadstar truck it possibly be 345 or 392 V8 with 2 barrel of 550 to 650 CFM with 1 or 2 vaccum chokes or 4 barrel carb Holley 1000 CFM with 2 choke vaccums also cable in dash for cold starts or when flooded on carb and if run out gas fuel ! Also if put new spark plugs put AC Delco LT 44 platinum in even gap them same as GM 350 V8 is plus high Suppression wires also new cap with rotor also points and if need other information ask me JT !

Hey JT, been subscribed for a bit now. Just never ridden a comment. I got to say I love watching your videos. You remind me so much of my great uncle. He started farming when he was 7 years old and is still farming at 94 years old. He loves his masseys, he says the best thing about amassi is the fact that anyone can work on it. You fail? Try again. Watching your videos sometimes it looks like you're feeling for a little bit but you always work your way through it. Which is the nice part. I like the fact that you keep that in there. Thank you for not taking that out. It's nice to see someone taking care of those Massey's The way they deserve. I mean imagine how many families are around today just because of those specific tractors. Not just the food they produce, but the families that lived on those Farms that use that equipment. The generations that that equipment is kept alive. It's nice seeing someone take care of them. On behalf of some of us Canadians. The ones you know with common sense. Love what you're doing, Keep up the good work buddy

Say JT great buy on your find with the fork lift. Regarding your new shop I would like to make a suggestion you likely hadn't given any thought. It's a floor drain, I have a simple inexpensive one in my shop 45 gallon drum plastic works best, sunk to level of the top of floor with submersible pump and place 2 poly pipes over to one wall before cement goes in. One for fluid other for electrical for your pump. Inexpensive if local laws allow you to pump on top of the ground . If not guess you would need holding tank and not need pump. Sump is sure nice to not have snow melting and water running all over the place.
