These videos are great. I wonder....if you are ever considering making some new ones... If you would consider showing someone lying down on the different AR"s but without the covers. So you can see a side view and how the latex contours. It would also be helpful to see how each AR responds to different weights/sizes Really appreciate your time and knowledge in making these. Im in New Zealand and have found these very helpful.

I would think that all arrangements would have one ultra firm as the bottom layer, for a solid base - and then adjust out the remaining layers?

You are spot on with your philosophy. I'd get you AR2 - but its just out of my budget, aargh

I have a Posh + Lavish 3” Ultra Plush topper on my bed. They won’t share the ILD saying is a trade secret, but they advertise it as being g the softest topper on the market. I love my topper. It currently sits on a traditional Beauty Rest pillow top mattress that I feel is now beginning to fail. I am female and weigh 124 pounds. I have always like my mattresses on the soft side and especially now with some hip problems starting. I obviously want to be supported but I’m not sure what will come close to what I have in an all latex version this time. Thank you in advance for your help.

In your philosophy, you don't even consider having a pocket spring layer at all? No benefit in springs at all? Thanks
@Nate-zy5ce Жыл бұрын
Good ergonomic advice. And you are correct about what some others say. Question: What are the ILD's for your various firmnesses? And is your latex dunlop or talalay? I love the logic of your AR's.
@SleepEssentials Жыл бұрын
We have six different firmness levels of latex from 13ILD to 44ILD. Our latex is only Dunlop because that is the only way to get certified organic latex so you know you have natural, not a synthetic blend latex. Synthetic latex is not as durable as natural. Some other organic companies mix coil + latex layering - what are your thoughts on this? Also, you demonstrated 9’, do you have AR3 in 12’ sizing? thank you
@peyton0729045 жыл бұрын
The "hybrid" mattresses of coils and latex is a way of adding height without the expense of latex because some people like a thick mattress. And because of this, we do make a 12 inch all latex mattress too. Call us at 540-397-2337 or send me a text message and I'll call you back promptly.

Hi I am a 50 year old female stomach sleeper 180 lbs with back pain from an car accident. My husband is 51, 220 lb side sleeper and snores and has acid reflux. Well ideally I’d think a split king would be ideal bet we really can only afford a mattress layers and cover in a queen and we will be using our old box spring. I know I personally prefer a firmer mattress and my husband likes a softer bed. I actually feel more pain on a softer bed, so I’m wondering if there is a firmer mattress that will give me support but a soft feel for him. I really think he would like the AR 2 but I’m kind of afraid of that being too soft for me cause my back hurts on our current bed. feel like I need more support like the AR three but maybe I am wrong ? I definitely feel need the support and he definitely wants some softness which way would you go for us? Can you please make a arecommendation for us, that we might most likely both be happy with? Oh one other thing he sleeps very hot and I actually shiver after I fall into deep sleep! So I sleep cold I guess. I know it’s crazy!

@@Dreblueskies Ah, yes. Since, we now no longer make "mattresses" because mattresses are regulated by the CPSC to make the chemical industry rich. But materials to make your own mattress is not regulated. So now, we sell materials and make recommendations on what materials you'll need to make your own mattress. So what we used to call the Perfection 20 mattress is now called the Arrangement Recommendation 2 (AR2). Perfection 30 is now called the AR3, etc.

Seems he did not answer you. I just received my 3 mattress on each side, and it was a mess to understand what and how. Not clear of what each one meant or what side was to be up or down! I was suppose to get and AR1 for one side, and the AR2 on the other. I have no idea what I Got to build it as the AR1 and the AR2 So i built it this way, Bottom D75,MiddleD70, TopD55 For both sides. Had two nights if sleep and my back still feels sore. I wonder if their is a way to make it softer than the AR1? Seems Lee has no time to answer, and to speak with Kevin Lynn is a waste.

Famous Jack: I didn’t get any response. The shipping boxes you get will have labels on the density. Put the highest density slab at the bottom and the lowest density slab at the top. But be careful once you take them out of the box there is no way to identify the firmness of the slabs. So mark the density using a pencil or marker on the side of slabs as you take them out of the box for future reference. Hope this helps.

Hello sir thank you very much for your concerns about health with mattresses. However mind I point out that your latex foam is not latex. It's latex infused the foam and this late texting fused foam Is filled with poisonous chemicals from activator accelerator anti foaming agents coagulence antioxidants, anti-Tak agents, color pigments cerficants and softeners. Many of these chemicals such as thiazoles, xanthates, thiurams, and other accelerators, activators such as stearic acid, anti tak agents such as rosi. Derivatives, resins, aliphatuc petroleum resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins and much more. If you? Want to promote which I know you do healthy sleeping. Then go for 100% organic latex. Not latex phone so sure I hate to point this out. But you're poisoning people just like the other mattress companies. Switch your materials do a little bit more studying on how latex phone is made in the is because as I mentioned there are 4 steps involved in turning a. Latex sap into foam. If I am wrong and anything that i'm saying please correct me. God bless you sir

@Sleep Essentials hello sir. Thank you for responding. You mentioned that you use organic latex FOAM. The che.icals that are used to create and stable ice the foam are harsh. I would just suggest that you look into it. Your latex may be organic, bit the foam portion is not. I'd love to know more about your search if you decide to do it. Love your videos and your passion. I bought this, last November and within 3 months I starting to wake up with lower back pain, neck issues, and hip issues, bought the kind the store owner uses. One of the big reasons I bought it, does not break down. however does not do me good if one keeps waking up with back issues, Hip, and neck. Note it is not just me my wife also is waking up with back issues. So today I bought a MyPillow Pillow topper that will go over this bed. 3" with a 60-day trial. Looking forward, or should I say hoping to wake up with no back issues or hip or neck. Let me know if anyone has found a bed that when you wake up one has no pain! Thanks if you have any questions let me know. 'I am 64 years old and my wife is younger.

3 months sounds something like a typical break-in period, seems like you may have gone a bit soft with foams. Might want to exchange for firmer foam that won't start as comfortable. Similar to how you usually want overcompensate on down pillow firmness because they soften up a lot in the first month or so. Once you get it you can crawl all over it to speed break-in.
