Helpful video thanks 4:54 Maybe this was changed in the recent firmware update: now you don't have to press a pad for each instance of a duplicate clip in arranger view if you have a short clip that repeats many times. You just press and hold the clip instance and then press where you want the duplicate repeats to finish. This saves going into each clip and duplicating the content of each clip to make them longer.

Super helpful! Thanks! Quick question that I may have missed.. what happens if I want to insert or extend the length from the beginning or middle. is this possible? (example: let's say my intro was 8 bars but realized I now want it 16 and I've already arranged the track)

I am still confused about Sections especially about the SHAR Reapeat function. Is there a video you explain this? As far as I understand a section should combine the parts of the song (for example drums+base+synth) the next section/colour should be the same structure with different content and so on - so you can skip from one to the next. Is there any reason at all to use these functions since we have arranger mode?

I have no idea how Shar works actually. I've tried but not sure exactly what the deal is with it. Lol sorry. I currently just copy and paste drums if I need the same beat.

The sections are used in arranger mode, insert each coloured section with others of like colours or mix it up. It's a way of keeping track of your sections in arranger view too.

Hey Ron, have they updated the attack on the synth engine? Are used to own one a few years back but the attack envelope was very short Even at maximum setting. I just felt overall the envelopes were not very good so I sold it. The new screen and all the updates I was hoping maybe they did some major changes to the quality of the Synthesizer engine. Thx.

No there's been no changes as far as I know. Personally I use deluge to trigger other synths so I have no issues. There's no major changes to the synth engine. Sorry

@@RonCavagnaro yeah using it as just a sequencer at the old price tag was something tangible.. with the new price tag ...I'll stick with my 707 to sequence my hardware 😬. Maybe I'll pick one up used but those will be the price of a new non-oled ver now lol

@@RonCavagnaro Right on :) I got rid of of most of my gear to sharpen my focus and improve my work output. With all my gear I was creating lots of bits and chunks but not complete works to put on a full release. After much thought I narrowed I down to my Peak, MicroKorg and the MC707 (once I figure out my way around the synth engine, I quickly realized it is an extremely powerful synth capable of just about anything I could cook up in my imagination).

Sections are really a waste of space/focus on the song mode. They should behave like ableton/bitwig clips instead, with 16 coloured sections per instrument track to then be able to use on the arranger.

Sorry but your video isn't really helping. I want to know how to Loop in Arranger mode. Currently the song just stops & turns off after the groups are done.

There's no loop set up for arranger
