Vietnam needs all the support from professionals and experts in their own fields. Andre easily has over 20 years in Hospitality, having worked in multiple countries and gathering experience in different markets. He has also acquired enough tenure in Vietnam, in order for him to speak with authority about the needs of the Vietnamese market. Andre is a well-seasoned hotelier, a usual Panelist, and a ambassador of Vietnamese tourism. Now, managing the Furama and Ariyana Complex, he has so much to offer to the city of Da Nang and Vietnam, as a whole. Something that he clearly stated was: "Vietnam has a lack of quality education in the hospitality right now. This is for ranking level, as well as for management level." This is something the government has to address (and invest) in order to stay competitive and for the tourism sector in Vietnam to thrive.

Oh I just saw Nelly’s thank you post to Andre at HORECFEX 2024. Audience of Hotelier Vietnam was lucky to meet the top professionals in hospitality weekly and learn new things without fees 😍 No doubt that Andre has been offering the best to our Vietnam hospitality, especially in hotel management. His innovative ideas in this industry have enhanced the new hotel groups to a higher level, to a more sustainable development. You are right, a GM is not always the one with education background/ certificates, someone with passion, service heart, who desired to learn and do jobs from junior position to higher would deserve in return.
