Love your videos and find them very useful. I have a tip you might want to share with your followers. When I have the external thermal screen fitted during the day I often fold it down to let more light in and have a better view. The problem is it flaps when windy. I have found a very simple but effective way to prevent the flapping. Fold it in half back up on its self so you can use the Velcro to secure in down again. I just a small a mount about 1.5 inches is enough to secure it even on windy days. I understand that the purpose is to help keep the van cool during the day but on dull days it’s not always necessary. Hope you understand it’s difficult to explain. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing, yes I do that when we want to keep the view. Taylormade also do a mesh cover that goes underneath the screen to provide light and privacy.

We are at Ferry Meadows and luckily bumped into Jenny and Poppy out for a walk. Thank you Jenny for taking the time to have a chat. We have been fans of yours for several years and always listen out for Poppy's arrival at campsite announcements which puts a big smile on our faces 😀.

Pitch 37 at Ferry Meadows this evening (Thu) giving 32.8mbps and 1.46mbps upload on O2 router this evening. Unlike you, I’m not so concerned with the upload speeds but quite happy with that download speed.

Hi Bob, With regards to your comment re your router & aerial could I ask how you are finding the aerial? Is it worth buying as I have the same router. Keep up the good work.

Think you might be better investing in a proper roof mounted aerial. It barely seems to make a difference.

I'll not be going to the show, more's the pity but I can rely on you two - plus Alison from tomorrow - to get me all psyched up and raring to go! I enjoyed the drive. It's always interesting coming from different parts of the country. Coming up from Devon is a tad different so... vive la change! Is it just me or does the current van crash and bang more than previous vehicles? I've seen how Bob and Jenny wrap stuff for transport so why the difference? Are those new microphones the reason?

We're using the Rode Wireless Go 2 microphones without the lapel mics as one of them packed up. I think used like that they pick up more background noises.
