Arriving from Uluwatu, Bali to Banyuwangi, Java, and Tanah Lot Temple, Bali | Vlog #19

Our lovely time on Bali came to an end and it was time to make our way to our next great destination - Java.
In this practical episode we tell you more about the commute options between the two islands and why we opted for a private driver. On our way we explored some new landscapes of Bali - this is the first time we wondered so much west. Then we arrived at the port and boarded the ferry.
On the way, we managed to visit the last Bali attraction that ranked high on our wish list but was difficult to reach during our previous trips - Tanah Lot temple. To our surprise, the temple complex is quite big and we spent two hours wandering along the cliff. Tanah Lot turned out to be one of the most charming places we have seen on Bali. This temple is located on an isolated rock that stands unmoved as the huge waves crash against it - it’s a spectacular view! Even though we did not access the temple due to high tide, we highly recommend visiting it, it was one of our favorites on Bali and a beautiful farewell to the island.
