Thanks so much Brother Eric 😜!!! Had a Blast getting out for some rips 🥰🥰. I knew after my first dry dirt bash I was parking the stock tires 👀. They're not horrible, just couldn't track that great or get the hook up I desperately wanted. She's feeling 100% better with beefier lugs and more mass 😍. Thought about tuning the stock shocks, but not having threaded body and 4mm made custom tuning the Trackstars an easy choice 👍. The Senton 4s is just plain NUTS 😱😂😂. It's Crazy, but she tracks straight and actually handles good for her weight. Fun as all heck Bro 🤣. Great plan with the F11's. I've kept several sets from older wheels 👍. I have zero reason to run removable wheel hexs 💩. Proline can keep their great idea 😂. I'm still trying to break the original solid wheel hexs 😝🤣🤣. So glad we're finally getting rain here in CA!!! I think the best upgrades are 17mm hex adapters, MX28 Badlands, and 4mm threaded body aluminum buggy/truggy shocks. For durability, the aluminum GPM front spindles are excellent too. It's much cheaper to simply replace them with stockers, but I've broken a few and got tired of it. 😎💪👊👊

Glad I found your channel. I have Xmaxx and Big Rock. How is your xmaxx bed mod holding up? I found if you cut some of the rear off around the bumper it helps. Maybe like 1/2 inch. Stops it flexing down on the bumper on big jumps
@richduperbash29662 жыл бұрын
Thanks Steve 🤗. That makes sense trimming the body around the snag points of the bumper 👍. So far the Kydex is definitely helping keep the rear body together. It flexes, but stops the rear from folding down like a taco around the body cage. Putting the 1/4" self adhesive felt from Walmart under the Kydex is key. It absorbs energy and make a nice cushion to anchor the Kydex and hardware. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Great video bro.....ive had my Big Rock for just a bit but haven't had much run time......the first time it seemed like it ran out of juice quickly.....i ran a 7200 mah...3s lipo......how long does yours last and what size battery you run.....thanks
@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Mando 🤗. You should be getting a long run time with 7200mah 🤔. I typically run lighter 5200-6500mah 75C 3s hardpacks from RCJuice and get 20-25 minutes. Are you fully balance charging your's to 4.20V per cell?

Trying to get new wheels/tires for my Big Rock. I have not even used it yet and already putting new servo in! Hahahah. (Servo snob!) are they any other options for the wheels/tires? Was trying to stick with the 14mm wheels.
@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
Honestly, they're aren't many wheel options in 14mm hex unless maybe Duratrax or Redcat has something decent that doesn't balloon like crazy. Might try the Granite 3s tires or bite the bullet and get the new M2C Racing direct fit 17mm hexs. That gives you far more wheel options. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hay bud I am having problems with my diffs in my big rock do you have any tips on the big rock diff someone said I needed to shim the outdrive stubs?
@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
Input and ring gear issues usually stem from the front most input gear bearing seizing up from dirt infiltration. I haven't had any internal diff issues. Pretty sure there's a single shim on the outdrive from the factory. I believe it's only on one side though 🤔. I'll have to look cuz it's been awhile, but I don't add any extra shims with the 3s rigs. 🍻😎💪👊👊

@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
@@GazYT1285 no problem Brother 👊. All of the 3s rigs are worthy. Just depends on what style interests you the most. Lots of interchangeable parts between them. The Big Rock V3 is probably the best option for all around bashing. The Granite is Killer for skatepark duties and acrobatics being shorter wheelbase, but harder to get the power down without doing wheelies. I love the Typhon and Senton 3s too. I'd say go with whatever peaks your interest the most. 🍻

The Typhon 6s shocks work great with softer springs and around 30-35 weight oils 👍. Not sure about some of the other aftermarkets offered. Unfortunately, the Turnigy Trackstar 1/8 buggy shocks I grabbed awhile back appear to be discontinued. What did you have in the speed project if you where not using the slipper clutch?
@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
That was the stock motor and slipper assembly on 4s with 26/57 gearing and BLX185 ESC. It's my drifting set-up. I use my Hobbystar 3670 with 28/38 spool creation setup for speed runs. 😎💪👊👊

@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
@@alextuxhorn8921 I would get a 4s slipper or run your 3s slipper mostly snugged down, maybe 1/4-1/2 turn from tight. The pads last longer with less slip.
