Hmmmm......I would say they're in a different category price wise, I like both but the fazon looks awesome and has tons of power but the redcat is a good deal for the price.

Maybe put the batteries on the top then instead of underneath ? So they are mounted in from the top , just an idea!!

And the battery doors do need an update to add a clip or a redesign to open from the top. Too much weight on landings! I use these battery boxes on my projects and flip them upside down so latch is on top. And they still look cool! I haven't had any problems that way but if I do I am adding a simple clip to hold the door in place.

Thanks for all the great videos! This one in particular swayed me into getting the Fazon for my son for Christmas. I got wind that my amazing woman got me the base model Nero, so I had to make sure my boy's Christmas was at least a little better than daddies with this wicked flavor of the Nero. Keep it up and you just may be the one that gets me to seriously use a you tube account and subscribe!

Hey Vas, nice video! btw, for the self-opening battery doors. in the video at around 7:50 i can see some holes in the battery door, and the side of the battery compartment that seems to line up. why dont you add a screw in there? that would help the door-opening problem.

Looks awsome! The battery tray issue is something that Arrma should have taken care off, the Big Rock has the same problem. Because of this, the price difference and the fact that the Outcast is really something different i think the Outcast will be the most popular by far. Thanx for yet another great video Vas!

For a basher the Kraton is where its at. I love mine, just need to get the RPM bracket for the spoiler because that's the only thing that keeps breaking. I've heard all of the Arrma bearings are crap, I have one wheel locking up from it now, so they should certainly upgrade those for us.

fazon, kraton or outcast? I think I'll always be biased towards the kraton just because it truly was my first rc i bought that i knew i got 100% of my monies worth and then some out of (prior to arrma i owned a lot of traxxas').. that first line of blx 6s vehicles really changed the RC game and its pricing. don't own an arrma with the diff-brain yet but i would love to try and mock one up for my kraton

So far as durability which body the big rock or the fazon will hold up better for the basher ? I know both are think but haven't seen the fazon body or big rock in person and now that my nero body like yours is trashed i wanted to know which body would be better. Better is very subjective. I do not own a MT8E. I can only go by what I read and hear. I would say just do as much research as you can. You cannot go wrong with an Arrma though. There is a lot of good stuff out there. They can and will all break. Some just require more work to break. Those are the ones I love. Getting into this hobby you should enjoy working on them as well but of course driving them is more fun.

Hey, justa quick question... on the towerhobbies website all ARRMA vehicles have this "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects (or other reproductive harm). Exposure through skin contact and ingestion may occur." Is this chemical found in all brands or just ARRMA? Should we be worried about this?
