Arrma Outcast 6s, "Going BIG" with DHK Zombie, Kraton, and Savox 1210 SG testing

Big to HUGE airs at the jump park. 2 sessions combined, 1st was plagued by mechanical issues; stripped Outcast servo, motor wires into gears, you get the picture. 2nd bash/part was testing new Savox SW1210 SG servo, very impressed, no glitch buster needed!!! Shout out to Jeff and Tdogg, missed group bash due to phone issue. Caught them on the tail end of their bash. Big thanks to my LHS, FAST TRACK HOBBIES, in Rocklin, CA for all of your awesome help and great service every time.

Nice going big bashing! I have liked the Savox servos the best of the ones I have used over the years. I had an expensive Protek that didn't do as well as the Savox. I didn't get much time from both of my stock Arrma servos. Great goose poop bash man!!

@@ChrisNY86 hey Brother 👊. On vacation out of town at the moment 😊. No RC for me the past week besides trying to watch others uploads from my hotel👀. I've found no need for an external BEC or even a glitch buster when using the Savox 1210. Some of the higher torque options will cause receiver brown outs without one. They simply draw too much power. The stock BLX receiver is limited to only 6V. If you want to maximize a servos power you'd need an external BEC. I simply haven't found that to be essential. 😎💪👊👊

Been using the savox 1210 with great results but may try one of the more budget friendly servos... I believe you mentioned the power hd 25kg in a vid and that you were somewhat satisfied with its performance/cost. Not sure how long they last for you but if they go a handful of bashes in your cases they may just last me a year and that in my case is worth it. Hope you enjoyed the holidays brother and look forward to a new hybrid Mojave/Mojave kraton build I'm about ready to begin now that mitch @ m2c released the Mojave chassis that is just amazing! I don't use a BEC or spacers. I've found 6V is plenty for me. The Savox 1210sg fits perfectly with the Voltage servo mount. 😎💪👊👊

RCbashing the KRATON thanks bro, loving the new 1210sg!!! Yeah I had strapped the wires together with a Velcro loop, but it slipped and the blue wire got ground a bit, lost a few strands, but stopped​ in time and was able to shrinkwrap it up later. Sounded like grinding and current passing, NOT good...Lol.😵😵😵😵😜

no im talking about drill hole in very top of wire holder.put two wires down the wire management holder and then put zip tie thru hole and hold the third one down...i showed what i do on one of my videos..

This park is killer for doing high speed big airs no doubt 😵. We're pushing these rigs about as hard as you possibly can with the right tuning and setup... So much fun and good times 😱. Is the arms on the outcast compatible to kratron? are they exchangeable to each other? Also if i buy a kratron m2c chassis can I put it on the outcast?

Yes indeed 👍. The arms, hubs, links, and shafts are the same between the the Kraton and Outcast. M2C offers chassis's for all the 6s models. You can turn your Outcast into a Kraton and visa versa. 😎💪👊👊

Ben Siedlik both are Beasts from what I can tell. Can only personally speak for the Outcast, very happy with overall performance, durability, and general ease of maintenance and easy diff case access by design. That said, wouldn't mind having a Thunder Tiger, so long as the part support was there.👍👍😵😵😲👊👊

Lots of Arrma parts have been slowly coming off dreaded backorder due to brand popularity I believe. eBay has been most helpful in a pinch. Scorpion that big jump was my Kraton. My buddy Jeff was driving the Zombie on 3s, will probably try it on 4s sometime. They both have red bodies and look similar, but the Kraton is much bigger even know they are both considered 1/8 scale. 👍👍😵😵😵🐒

bradleungphoto yes!!! It's not a torque monster, but it's quick, smooth, and centers great. HUGE upgrade from stock and 100% waterproof. It's what I run in all my Arrmas and my Tekno MT 410😎💪👊👊
