As a fan of both Rugby League and Rugby Union, I have to say that I DON’T like any on field arrogance. I played RU in High School and our coach was an ex-All Black, who always said that winning or losing, we were to treat the opposing team with respect both on the field and off it. I don’t like the crap that has become the norm in any sport in recent years (especially cricket!) because it’s disrespectful and detracts from the spirit of the game. I know the media people love it, but I bet if you ask the players they don’t really like it all that much. I grew up watching the All Blacks play against the Springboks in Test Matches that were as gritty and hard fought as you could want, but neither side ever got in their opponents faces after scoring the way we see these days. I think we need to get back to that.

I started supporting the Penrith panthers during Greg Alexander days.after their two premier ship success the team became easy beats and took a long time to be where they are today.it took Phil Gould four years to build this team starting from the juniors and it payed off in 2020.in 2020 they lost the grand final than last year 2021 they won the grand final and became the premiers.this year they are carrying on from that triumph.their success has been built from their junior system and they are reaping the rewards.there is no need for making bad comments about the Penrith panthers,they have a great couch and a bunch off tough young players shaped and moulded to succeed.lets go panthers...
