Wait, which version is this? I thought there wasn’t a boss after clearing all enemies in the jungle in the arcade version. And enemy ambushes? I thought that only happened in the home versions.

Looks the same to me as in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWWwhJ2DeLWjlck I think the helicopters at the end of this video were messed up from emulation, but I wasn't aware of any other problems. I can't say for sure that there isn't another revision that was different from this one.

@@arronmunroe I play this game a lot in Taito Legends, there wasn’t an encounter with the General in the Jungle stage, or enemy ambushes.

@@SolCresta3405 I checked out this video, so I can see that you're right. I have no idea if there was a different revision of the game in arcades, or if it's just the Taito Legends version that changed things. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXqzemuZo9Z8erM

@@SolCresta3405 I think I found what's wrong with the Taito Legends version here. www.bryanmcphail.com/wp/?p=794 As it says here "Recently RetroGamer ran a feature on Operation Wolf (Taito, 1987) that mentioned the emulation in M.A.M.E. and the ‘arcade perfect’ Taito Legends (PS2, 2005) was not quite correct - missing cutscenes, a missing boss, some other details. Unfortunately, that’s true - the reason is Operation Wolf contains copy protection that has never been properly emulated."

It's an arcade game, but it can be played on PC with the emulator MAME.
