I’ve put a medium 1m axel which I feel gives the kart a lot more grip in the rear so I run positive camber and my rear never slides

Right they took a republic frame , painted in arrow blue(purple w.e) and called it an arrow kart. Ax8 was a legit frame

As the kart comes. Wheel alignment was 2mm negative 2mm toe out overall. Rear track 1395mm. Seat 5 mm below the chassis and 135mm off the back axle(check the measurement on the dpe website). Rear bar loose. 15mm spacer in the front.

Hey Leigh, what kart would you recommend out of these 3 karts for kA junior light. Kart republic, Arrow x6.2 and Tony kart

You will be fast with all three. I would say Kart Republic and Arrow would be the best for National Level as it is gripper, but club level and lower grip would be the Tony Kart. Thanks for watching 👀

Gday, looking at getting back into karting after 20 years (35 y/o now) used to race Juniors, so don't know what the scene is like now. Just wondering if on a budget and only looking to race at one track for the year, would it make sense to get into KA3 Senior or is it more for younger guys just coming out of the Junior class? Cheers.

Hey mate, I think it all depends on what everyone races at your local club. Go to a club day and see what you think, no point spending alot of money to race 2 people. There are alot of juniors that stay in KA3 when they move to seniors, so they don't have to buy new engines. Thanks for watching 👀

Yep very high. It is a new surface. We have just had the State Titles, and once the track "rubbered up," we were back down to normal pressures. Just need to adapt to the track. Thanks for watching 👀

Interesting to see the rear ride height set to the middle . That track must be very low grip with the settings you used in the test.

You Ramble on about all kinds of Carts that I have never heard of. I wish someone would make a list of carts and descriptions and put them on a web page. I am going to have to go to a carting store for starters.

Hi Mike, I am trying to get hold of all karts, but it's very hard in Australia at the moment. Have you not heard of Kart Republic or OTK? Both have won world championships in the last 2 weeks. What type of karting are you into or looking to get into? Thanks for watching my rambling 👀

@@vitalkarting My Father has a 1960 Simplex with a 5 HP West Bend engine. Mccullogh was a good cart. Rupp made them.. Magura was known to be one of the best., I see Toni Kart is made in Italy. I have never owned a Go Kart but I could tell you a long list of Motorcycles that I have owned. When I was younger most of my free time was in the Winter so I concentrated on snow Skiing.. Thus Believe it or not about all I know about Karts is from watching youtube.. Many Channels babble on about different makes and Models but don't break down their specs .. race class or rules as per the class. I know Yamaha made a 100 CC Kart engine. After watching the videos I have seen .. I would prefer a shifter Kart. To go fast on a Motorcycle or in a car on a road course it's all about braking and thus a Kart that has 4 wheel brakes makes more sense to me. It looks like many Kart Tracks are set up to the curves slow you down as opposed to going fast down a straight away and braking hard before the turn. I am OK with looking for a used Kart. There are not many Kart Tracks near me and I have other Interests. I just bought a Leather suit and I can do a Track day on my street bike..

Hey mate, the X6.1 was late 2021 and I was late to review it. The X6.2 is a 2023 model. You can still buy both as they are quite different. Thanks for watching 👀
