Arroz Ala Cubana Ala Me! I have made this dish many times because it’s so fast, easy and filling and I run a full house with 8 kids!
This is a complete all in one meal perfect for family gatherings and meal times. In this episode I also flashbacked to my start in showbiz and the crazy adventures! Hello, Nadia, very practical talaga siya, Para po siyang gapao rice, ( tai dish) the differense is you use ground chichen, or you may use also ground pork or mix, ang seasoning nya is oister sause n patis, and a little brown or palm sugar, instead OF oregano, you put bazil or dry bazil, instead of carrot, green n red papricot, n you also serve with sunny side up egg.....but more Spanish dish Pls. Nadia me ituturo ako . Usually ang dapat unahin mong igisa ang sibuyas then pag medyo malalanta na tsaka mo ibaba ang bawang kasi ang bawang madaling masunog then ibaba mo na ang karne. Igisa gisa mo then takpan mo at lower the fire hayaan mo lumabas ang katas nya at kumulo kilo until matuyo at gisa mo uli. If the meat has few liquid and para masiguro mong cooked talaga add hot water. Why hot kasi kapag cold mas matagal lumambot ang karne. Kaya when cooking always me kettle of boiling water sa tabi. Mas masarap ang ulam kapag lanta lahat ng mga sangkap at hindi madaling mapanis. Kung me tomatoe sauce buhos mo t nang maprito then add hot water para mapakulyan at nang mawala ang asim. When cooking with vinegar dont mix kapag naibuhos na ang vinegar and hwag bubuksan kapag di pa luto suka. Pasingawin mo ang amoy asido ng suka kapag kumukulo na then tsaka pwedeng buksan. Hwag bukas takip kapag me suka kasi aasim. Ill keep on watching all your videos. Be good luck

Sisingit din ako, lol. Pwedeng una ang garlic but on low fire. It will infuse the oil with garlic flavor. Saw it from Dina Bonnevies Kare kare video. Tama sya. I did it with my Salpicao recipe, effective! And just like yours, I learned from a Korina Sanchez video, pag maggisa low fire and be patient until lanta na lahat. I tried this and it's true, napakasarap bigla ng food na based sa ginisa. Normal food like monggo or escabeche, etc mas may flavor. I was so impressed. Keep it coming ladies! Love learning from other people! Its so refreshing seeing how other people cook, may matututunan ka talaga.

I like your style of cooking. Very clean pati and to the point. But I noticed na you like to saturate your food in cooking oil. A tablespoon of oil can go a long way. Here in the US we brown the beef first before adding garlic and onion para no need na to add more oil kasi the beef has enough juices and its own fat para mag gisa.Not a basher po pero too much saturated fat is bad for us hehe. I noticed that you did not drain some of the bacon grease when you cooked carbonara too. Was it for flavor or mahilig lang talaga kayo sa mamantikang food? Just an observation. Too much fat can clog our arteries po kasi. More power and more cooking to come.

I am Puerto Rican and Cuban Decent and we make Picadillo different than you do. We don't put anything like potatoes or carrots in ours. I guess it is what your country is accustomed to . It is probably right for your country and I'm not attacking you. It was interesting to see how you cook. Just like Adobo I make it differently in my style but your way is probably the the authentic way. No offense ment.

Just in case your producer or writer hasn’t given your performance feedback ... Use complete sentences so we don’t have to hear, make that strain to hear the leading questions that a disembodied voice asks you. They can edit it out. Tell the story yourself, which means have a beginning, middle and end. Don’t rely on the “feeder” to begin the topic. Ask for the guide questions and topic before you roll. You have great anecdotes but you have to be the trigger. You’re the host of the show, not the guest. It’s the host who starts the conversation not the person answering questions.
