Quite fancy a Stag but why should I choose one over a Rover P6 3.5 V8?

Lovely day out for you! Jealous! Was hoping that you looked at a Java green ☝️ Celebrated my 78 birthday on Wednesday and refitted the differential, very sweaty job. I can now move the car again. Engine and gearbox next. Have a good day!

Really hope yours goes back to the Magenta - such a fantastic period colour against the classic 70s satin black trim paint. Would make a proper statement...

Hopefully by the time you get round to painting and have seen hundreds of Stags original and modified / customised you'll go back to one of the period correct Triumph / Leyland colours. The more I see with blingy paint / wheels / interiors the more I confirm to myself that the styling and paintwork of 70s Triumphs was so good. (Don't like Pimento though !)

Presume you've got a black interior... Tahiti Blue was the nice Royal Blue, but Pageant was the lighter, brighter on MGs etc. There's a lovely colour called Mallard Blue which was rare and I think only on TR6s for a couple of years, that would be my choice. Quite like the earlier Valencia Blue from the late 60s... TR5, GT6, Heralds and Vitesses.

@@johnmoruzzi7236 Mallard also used on Triumph 2000 and 2500 Pi .

@@johnmoruzzi7236 Superb colour for Triumphs when the paint is good I agree.
