Arsenal is a huge club with a huge fanbase. Unless the entirety of them boycott matches, it will not change. There are many fans who would happily take DT's or Troopz' place if they stop paying for tickets. That being said however, I agree. The board needs to change. As a fellow united fan, you may recall back in 2009/10, our fans became vocal about the Glazers milking the club for too much money, there were questions over what happened to the Ronaldo money, Rooney was reportedly demanding a transfer, City had signed Toure and Aguero and were looking more ambitious. As a result, our board stepped up and invested in the club with both high wages and transfer fees, e.g. Van Persie, Mata, Di Maria, Pogba, Ibra, and big decisions, ending LVG's contract early, signing Mourinho after his disaster year, persisting with Ed Woodward despite his horror show in transfer windows past.

Just find it disgusting that you can march through the streets without a care in the world singing "we want Wenger out", a man who brought you memories of the invincibles, many other successes, but more importantly kept the club running, getting consistent CL football through a period of financial instability, all whilst having a touch of class, and will to play attacking football. The board spend the money - negotiating deals. The scouts find the players and recommend them. My attitude isn't like that at all, i just think unless a better manager is to come along why wish Wenger out? Over the past 2-3 years you've seen a plethora of top managers become available, and go to clubs either only slightly better or on par with Arsenal. Who's actually available now? Guaranteed to be better than Wenger? I'd say Sampoali's the only clear cut one, and he's going to Barca. Other than that ye you MIGHT see Tuchel, Allegri or someone like that become available. I don't think you shouldn't aspire to be better, but right now Wenger's offering stability with a crap set of players that aren't good enough to compete. The whole club needs overhauling Squad, Manager and board before Arsenal will seriously be able to succeed. I don't paint him as 'the French Mother Theresa', i just think you should show a bit more respect to a bloke that's been with you for 20 years. The time for change protest i thought was bang on, respectfully done, and didn't just scapegoat Wenger, unfortunately your fanbase bottled that. 20 years, and his final memories will be that of his own fans hounding him out, bloody hell. Show respect, ahh yeh, like when we were complaining about ticket prices (highest in Europe) and he turned around and effectively said "get over it", like when he told us to be "realistic" after bottling it for 8 seasons in a row, like when he told arsenal fans to be more like spurs fans, he is an arrogant old fart that shows no respect to us so my penchant for sentiment is well and truly gone! The vast majority of our fans now (hate to say it) are weekenders with more money than sense that just want to say that they went to the game. If it was left to them Wenger would be there forever more, it then rests on the hard-core fans to make as much noise as possible to force change, you might not like that, but I could not give a fuck. I think its fascinating that you feel sorry for a bloke that has more money than you could ever count and is categorically failing to keep us up with our rivals. The clubs above us are only getting better and we are becoming more spineless with every season that Wenger is allowed to continue, you think what has happened so far has been disrespectful? Wait and see what happens if he signs another contract....
