Hey Charles. The transfer window is finally open! As you said it does seem more and more unlikely for Arsenal to sign a No.9 this summer. I think you will remember very clearly what happened last summer. The only sure target Arsenal was after was Declan. Everyone thought we were after Mason Mount and suddenly Havertz pops out. We never imagined getting Timber and Raya until Ornstein broke out the news because there were no links. Arsenal are surely playing close to the chest recently. Won't we see similar things happening like quality signing popping out of the blue?(For instance, we have Euro and Copa America this summer so won't there be some surprise signing from the break out players of the tournament?)

I know KZbin complications are not always the best way to judge a player.. but Joao Neves really does look special and absolutely perfect for this arsenal team. He could play the Left 8 and drop into the 6 comfortably when Rice pushes forward, and has the passing ability to unlock a different dynamic to our attack and particularly left hand side. Although I agree it’s unlikely Arsenal will trigger the release clause and gamble on him, I would love to see it happen!!

100 m for martinelli. Absolutely take it all day. He hasn't improved his game iq a single bit and there a lot of wingers in world football better than him. We can all make excuses for change in system for his bad season but that's not the case as in the same system trossard bagged goals and performed brilliantly while playing a lot less minutes. For me 100m for martinelli is a daylight robbery. Sell sell and invest that 100m for a top winger.

Martineli didn't have the best of season, simply because he didn't have a supporting fullback. Most players that played left back last season were inverting into the midfield, leaving Martineli alone. He also didn't strike a partnership with any left back, because of injuries to the left backs, Arteta had to alternate. Also, after Martineli's injury, he struggled to get back to his best. Compared to Saka on the other wing, Saka had White who always supported him with overlapping runs.

The Issue is Not Looking down as he Dribbles.He should just have awareness of teammates positioning & Shapes formed with players switching places.Martinelli Henry finish is predictable,he should try to Scoring Headers & have good Aerial positioning.I remember when he came first in arsenal he used to score Headers more.Work on your assist too & try to be quick to know next move to pass & finish game early.Declan took his corner kick assist & so work on box & attack assist.Its actually a good start having many Assist than Goals a clever player should know that & improves ur game

Sell Nketiah, keep the money. Give a chance to Biereth. Sell him after next season and combine with Nketiah sale to go for Sesko a year later. Arsenal does not have a scoring problem but a midfield problem. Too many midfielders not trusted by the coach, Elneny, Vieira, ESR. In the games against Newcastle, both Villa games. Fulham, the midfield was were our failure was overall. We rely on dominating the midfield.

Would like to keep Martinelli, but if an offer of 80m+ came in, then I’d wish him well with his new team 😅 I’d like a striker, Gyorkeres first choice, Osimhen second. But I’d understand if we decided it’s not a priority - what with Havertz coming good, Jesus and (for now) Nketiah still in the team. I do think a more versatile forward (who can rotate with the front 3) is probably our priority. In that case, would love Nico Williams or Neto. Leao would be the dream but probably not realistic. For midfield, Fofana at around £25m is too good of a deal to ignore. Guimaraes would be good but very expensive and I see him at City tbh. Zubimendi would be a solid option for us and can see him thrive under Arteta. Neves is a gamble at that price, but it’s hard to not admire the prospect - not sure it’s something we’d risk. Would love us to take a look at Lilian Thuram. I think he’s the next big talent in midfield. A real LB is also crucial. Not really sure who tho
