I really like the blob challenge because it immediately gets past that initial fear of making the first mark, and if you start with a light enough blob, you can add all kinds of details and layer on more color to make an even more interesting finished piece.

Relatable Tings For this drawing she used a 0.1 but I think she usually uses bigger. However it can depend on your style of drawing, and sometimes it is good to use multiple sizes in one drawing for details and outlining.

These are fun. I use art blobs to use up all the left over paint on my palette because I hate sending perfectly good paint down the drain. When I've finished what I'm working on I'll turn to a random page in my sketch books and blob the leftover watercolour down in odd shapes to revisit later when I want a warm up or I want to art but can't decide what to work on.
