I think I've mentioned this before. What keeps me coming back to your channel is your personality. You are a nice person. That is such a rare thing. I may not always care for the art you create but the care and skill you use to make the things you do is wonderful. Plus, from time to time you create projects I try out on my own such as the list of items to draw from for collage pieces and a portfolio project. You positively guide a lot of people by way of your videos. You should be proud of that!

This is such a fun way of building a book! I am a card maker, who has recently started making journals. I’ve always been afraid of gelli printing, because it seems so much more chaotic and messy than anything I’m used to doing. i COMPLETELY understand what you said about being more free in your creativity when you're using something that isn't too "posh" or expensive! I've been cutting down composition notebooks to roughly 5-1/2 X 7-1/2, decorating the front and back covers, and I LOVE them! On my shelves I literally have 15+ "proper" journals that I have not written in or decorated in any way. I also have a "Wreck This Journal," which is a lot of fun because it encourages you to do things like spill things on it or splash water onto it or things like that and it's supposed to get you to start feeling more comfortable about not messing up, because the messier you are, the better! Anyway, thank you for sharing your awesome ideas with us!

The techniques that you show us are things that can be incorporated into other journaling or art projects. I love your sharing your creative way of thinking with us. The way you recycle scraps and left over materials is great. What a wonderful idea for all the gel prints I, as a new gel printer, am amassing that just aren’t that impressive. This little journal will be something that I can definitely use, as the pristine white pages in my store bought journal are just too intimidating! Also, I don’t really have a stash of the wonderful bits of ephemera that I see in so many of other utube artists. You always have such wonderful diy ideas! I love all your videos, Ceri! Ceri, thank you for your videos, they are enjoyably and inspiring. I also enjoy your coffee time. I have been pondering on 😊the one on Death Cleaning. We as artist want to leave our treasures we have created to someone that would treasure them. Well if you will permit me. The Lord shared this with me. If my treasures ended up in a garage sales or thrift shop and it is purchased by someone they found it beautiful and brings them joy. Isn’t that our purpose to bring joy and beauty to those around us. I will continue pour my heart into my craft whatever it may be to bring joy and wherever it may end up. Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts. You are an inspiration to us all. 😊

Thank you once more for another inspiring video, brilliant advice gluing 2 pages together etc, love that I always learn something new from you. I totally get where you're coming from in being afraid to let loose with your creative flow, when we are brought up in an environment where we have to 'be careful' with money or things but also be 'perfect' it affects many aspects of our lives. I am constantly trying to step out of my 'safe' comfort zone and suffer with anxiety as a result of being fearful of being wasteful or failing. We can often feel alone and foolish for thinking like this so it is really helpful when someone else shares their feelings. It helps us make sense of it all, a problem shared and all that!
