i love it when you always show how much of a role and impact references play in the drawing process. some people say yes to references but don’t show the references in their drawing process. it just doesn’t make sense. like, if you really want people to know just how important references are, then show it. here, you really show how important they are. and love the fact you use multiple references, i appreciate this process very much. the art as well is stunning, i just love everything in this video :D references are the key to literally everything

I absolutely love your drawings! You’re a huge inspiration to me and I hope I can one day draw as amazing as you :D Your tips help me a lot-just yesterday I colored everything on one layer and later made copies and put them on top of each part that I refined separately. It works really well! Thank you so much for showing us your art process! I am wondering, however, how you’re always so good at picking colors. I really have trouble with it. I want my art to look bright and vibrant or…just GOOD. But a lot of times either the colors I use (base color and shadows) don’t look good together or the colors look somehow muddy. If you have any tips regarding that or how you study colors/how to apply them, then i’d be eternally grateful! Thanks again for making videos and showing us everything! I hope you have a great Sunday and start of the next week :D

Oh wow, that's such a lovely comment, thank you very much for trying it yourself and letting me know about your experience. i really appreciate this. Hm..my art isnt very vibrant but one huge tip is to have one really saturated colour in you base shading. Like when I shade purple, i use a pretty dull base colour but my highlights are saturated, but not brighter. That way I get some sort of dimension :) I plan on making a specific video for that^^ But thanks for asking, this tells me what to do next^^ Have an awesome Sunday as well :3

@@kurohshiro thank you for the reply! And I will definitely try it out with the saturated colors and duller base. I'm looking forward to your next video. Thanks again :D

Gosh, thanks. Seriously, I always was scared of KZbin because making videos is a whole different things. Not only you need to make art, the video itself is a creative form as well, which requires a lot of passion. But seeing how people love it is so rewarding and makes me happy. So, thanks for telling me :)

I'm so envious of your art style, especially your rendering techniques. 70% of the coloring is done before you officially start coloring! Whereas it can take me weeks to feel like I'm getting the right colors.

Ahh cool an unboxing tablet video and draw with me video too! We finally get to see your desk setup, simple and minimalistic! My desk is rlly crowded with books and pens and plushies I wanna have the simple style too I also keep my display tablet only at home and if i travel i just bring a sketchbook lol I have a question if thats okay, how to be consistent with art and draw a lot? I like drawing but i'm always procrastinating Your art is always nice to look at, so amazing! 💖

Ahh yes! I want to include more real time clips^^ Actually my place would be more messy but thats a more or less temporary setup, because it's not my actual place :) I love to have books, merch, figures, pens and paper at my desk ^^ Since I am currently studying I am not really good with keeping up with art. I draw when I am free, but not after 9 pm lol, thats my break time. I try to draw as much as I reached the state of 'yes, I am happy with how the wip looks right now. I deserve a break now', and it works quite well^^ Just drawing that much, not forcing anything but still making progress. Hope that helps :)

That layer management helps me a lot Well I haven't really apply it but that looks easier to... define the shadow and lighting And I really love this OC of yours, please draw him again ❤❤❤ Anyway, yeah people using the tablet usually on portrait mode? But you need to make KZbin video so I guess it's a little too small in lanscape mode

Can I ask you a question regarding your process so I can understand it a bit better and try it for myself on Procreate? After you do your sketch, you create an ink layer (set it to referience layer), then a colour layer on top of it that you quickly colour with the colours you want. Then you shade each individual section (i.e. hair, jewellery) on it's own layers and then take duplicates of the colour layer and place them overtop of each of the individual sections. I hope I got that correct. Do you merge it all together or keep it in an overlay mode for the layers?

Thanks! Yes I do. But mostly for sketching. I can't really work with it since I am too clunky to make it look good. Idk, not my device and app of choice tbh. But I would love to change this.

Amazing art work as usual! ❤ may I ask why did you use a yellowish color for the skin when you put base color to the individual layer, then when you clipped the coped rough sketch layer to it, it turns into a normal skin color? 5:52 ‏‪

I would love to know what brush you used for the tattoo! Also the driv er issue isn't exclusive to that tablet - most tablets will not work when multiple different tablet drivers are installed. For example, I have two Wacom tablets but neither of them will work if the other's driver is also installed while it's plugged in.
@kurohshiro
@kurohshiro Жыл бұрын
Hey! I did a video featuring this brush :) So it's basically a Clip Studio Paint brush you can download for free :) Yeah, seems like that. I haven't run into such issues with other tablets to be honest. My wacom driver works perfectly with the XP-Pen driver.
