I love all your plants!! I’m obsessed with plants as well, would you be willing to do a video on how your propagated your African Violets?? We have plants that belong to my great grandmother and we’d love to propagate them as well.
@LenaDanya5 жыл бұрын
Justin DeMattico made a fresh cut on an African violet leaf, diagonally with the flesh part pointing upwards (leaving at least 1.5 inchesof stem on the leaf) dipped the cut part into rooting hormone and then into some soil + watered. I put a little sandwich bag over the leaf to give it some humidity while it forms roots and babies should sprout in 1-3 months! Each leaf (if they’re big enough) can produce multiple babies. Once they’re large enough I separated them into their own pots and they flower after about 10 months to a year

Lena The Lovely! I'm psyched to see the green as It has always been an interest of mine. I'm a freak about trees, ha, I know ha, but that freakness got me into Bonsai's, which got me into making my own pots(or as I like to call them) vessels cause they are not always your typical "pot" shape. Plus vessel insinuates movement, which I'm constantly moving them around, but also moving in reference to growth. So from pots got me more into geology and have become a lover of rock formations and in turn brings me to texture and with your vids and lots of experimenting I have got into what I will say is mixed media(sculpted, painted, textured, sometimes planted creations, ha). lastly(I promise) with the Pothos getting longer, you could "ixnay" the fake over the door way and use the pothos, just a suggestion! B well, always!!!

That plant behind your easel is beautiful. An idea maybe, is to pick it up and add a shelf or two for it to trail over it might look cool. Also are you taking the plant trimmings or cuttings and letting it grow roots and planting them too? You can have triple those plants from this one since it loves you and loves the space it's in.

Third Jar is 2 parts Galkyd and 1 part Solvent, and individually stored in a glass jar. Is the ratios ok and also do you think that it will dry overtime in the glass because I’m going to be reserving it and letting it last very long in the jar. Thanks Lena and Beautiful Workspace.

Agh, Your studio is beautiful and looks so much neater than mine 😭. I don’t have closet space in that room so everything is out in the open, on shelves in plastic totes. I string black drapes across all of them so I don’t have to look at “it” and to keep the reflection off my canvas as I paint. We are remodeling an oldish cabin near the house to be my studio. Art studio (350 sq ft) is much smaller than our house (1985 sq ft). But husband’s shop is 3890 sq ft. inside with awning of another 330 sq ft. He is spoiled.
