I bet a watery scene would be really cool with this. Maybe a river waterfall pouring down into a deep blue lake with some cool splashes and bubbles and some sort of wildlife. It seems like that would lend itself well to the medium because you could get so many glossy highlights with all the wetness!

Considering all the different effects you can achieve with this clay board stuff… One artwork using different mediums to showcase the 4 elements?😃 Maybe even with a dragon in each element?! Ooooo or one giant dragon walking through them all that sort of “shape shifts” and melds into whatever particular element it’s in.

The better you get at art, the more critical of your own work you tend to be. So for Jazza to say he's really proud of something means he's surpassed his own, probably high, expectations of himself. Though I guess his expectations are a bit lower when he's trying out a new medium, because he doesn't know yet what he/it can do.

I had a few ideas for the big clay board. 1. Jazza Family - Well if you're alright with doing a family style portrait, don't forget to add Pike. [well if that is the name of your horse] 2. Jazza Painting Jazza, Painting Jazza - Kinda like an infinite loop of you doing a self portrait about you doing self portrait about you doing self portrait lol. 3. You plus all of your crew members past and present - Could do a big piece with you and everyone you've worked with and or still work with. 4. Future Jazza - What would future Jazza look like, will he be an android, will he be part Kangaroo or king of the world? 5. Where is Jazza? - Kind of like a where is Waldo but Jazza, if not for this clay board you could probably do something like this in a future video as well! Alright those are some ideas! Can be also used for other videos as well, since who knows if it might be to hard for some of these to be done on a clay board.

For me, the clay board seems like it would be best served using a sort of wispy artwork, where you can take an image and add a lot of wisps and flowing items. Either that, or take some sandpaper to areas of color to make the scratch-marks feel less like unrefined line art. I mean, unrefined line art is a nice ascetic if used properly, but evening out scratches would also increase the number of styles you can use.

Intetesting . This reminds me of when i was 5 years old and my mom took a white board, took a brush and india ink and she freehand painted a sihoulette of a rabbit in mid leap. When it dried she scratched fur on it and the inside of the ears, did the eyes and nose and mouth and it looked like a real rabbit. With no pre-sketching at all. I still have that picture. And it does look very realistic. I also have another picture she did using the scratchboard. She made it before going to Disney studios to apply for a job. The picture she did was on a scratchboatd covered with black ink with trees, plants, flowers, moths or butterflies, and a fox skipping through the woods. It is adorable. As for Disney studios, she didnt get the job because she didnt have a college art degree. They said come back when you get a degree. Afterwards we moved to Mexico and a few years later she sold 11 of her paintings to Vincent Price and some paintings to the Time/Life magazine people to decorate their building in Chicago, and paintings to people from all over. The two paintings she did of me as a child sold before they were even dry. She was invited to the Friends of Mexico exhibit in New York but before we could get there she died. She eould have loved watching you paint and draw. You are very good.
