Most presets have either a descriptive name or some kind of jokey name but Jens' were all just 'Riff 1' and 'Riff 2' etc.. no indication of what they sounded like or would be used for. If Meshuggah played every song that everyone wants in the setlist they'd never leave the stage. I'm ok with that.

Best Meshuggah live recording of all time. Thank you Arte!

Humilative came out in 1994 and is somehow still more innovative and fresh sounding than most modern metal. What a band.

Meshuggah are absolutely untouchable live. They are the closest I’ve seen to live perfection. Mind blowing band.

Meshuggah has been around since 1987! The fact that they are not only still going but are tighter and more imposing than ever is insane. They only grow more poweful with age. Force of nature.

I saw Meshuggah last year in Krakow and my neck suffered a lot, but this is the kind of suffering you want to have every day. I hope they will play until the end of the world and one day more. The best band in the whole fucking world.

I've seen more bands live in my time as a fan and a performer over the last 25 years than I've got hairs on my head, I've seen everything from huge pop and R&B shows, down to jazz in holes in the corner of nowhere, right over to seeing Sunn O))) in a fucking cave, and of all the bands, no one, not a single one comes close to the live shows Meshuggah put on. CD perfect every time, most unfuckwithable light show on offer, and musical mastery that can only be found in this band. An utterly astonishing contribution to music.

It’s really awesome to see Meshuggah grow to this level. I was obsessed when Nothing came out. Got to see them in St. Louis at a small club called “Pop’s” when then were touring Catch 33. Even caught Thomas’s drumstick he threw into the crowd and still have it today.

I have said this to my friend many times. Just knowing that we have lived the same lifetime together in metal is more than enough for me. The inspiration, influence and excitement that Meshuggah has made me feel for music is a true gift.
