As a sound engineer, I am absolutely loving how they are sounding on a smaller stage than usual. And Eloy is bringing me back a little hope, something I always thought has been lost since Joey departed. It's just amazing to see them rock out in a smaller venue, where you can literally hear that they are still a great live band, not reliant on studio production, and can keep in league with the heaviest of them out there. I like that they seem to be embracing their own legacy now, and going back to revisiting their earlier sound that everyone loves, the sound that made them. This could be the beginning of the golden era of their resurgence as all time classic acts!

@@EmpathogenesisJay got fired for that reason. He can’t keep time for fucking shit. It was so bad he was literally back tracking his kicks because he couldn’t stop rushing the beat. Fucking hell Eloy's kit sounds so much better in terms of tuning compared to Jay's SJC kit... makes a world of difference in terms of attack. Could only imagine what could have been

He does that every show but since it was a smaller show I think he gave it to a specific person which is even cooler

With Eloy setting the pace everyone is empowered, the drums swallow the band and puts all of them in a majestic performance. CLASS ACT.

Jesus and I thought I wouldn't see anyone at least similar to or better than John Bonham, I swear I had given up, but Eloy is beyond, this guy's level is surreal, his heavy beat and clearly correct, shows how studied and perfectionist Eloy is . I'm in shock, in disbelief and very excited to see him live. Slipknot has to thank the heavens a lot for Eloy being in the band, it will be a new beginning and we will certainly have songs breaking viewing records.

A banda ganhou uma potência absurda com o Eloy 🎉

This was near perfect. Eloy is an absolute F'N BEAST & Corey!? He's sounding really crisp & on point, this is live too!! Also props to the crowd, they were throwing down too!

They made the right decision to hire Eloy the man is a human drum machine but Joey is still number 1 and always will be. Jay is no 3

es notable como un excelente baterista le da vida a tremenda banda. suena tal cual el disco. es como volver a algo que en algun momento fue perfecto. el sonido y la tecnica iguales a su baterista original. es como volver a escuchar a jordison. pero en estudio! es espectacular

I'm not very familiar with this Eloy guy but I have been listening to slipknot since I was a kid in the early 2000's and this dude sounds like he fits right in man. I'm so excited too see what these guys do next

Can someone shed some light on how this gig came about? Slipnkot headline the biggest festivals in the world, yet these lucky people basically got a back yard show and to top it all off, they actually sound like Slipknot for the first time in 15 years
