The mentality of the Timorense people in regard to religoius figures and their behaviour is really shocking... they adore those religious figures as it is The God Himself that walks on earth.... terrible and sad... there are lots and lots more victims.. but people tend to stay silent because of the mentality of those whose minds are so narrow... in East Timor, all those priests live like kings, eat like kings, and enjoy all the privileges.. nothing like Jesus Christ Himself at all.... 😔

Why mention about 'muslim' before saying Indonesia? The invasion of East Timor by Indonesian army has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with Cold War politics, between the communist and western capitalist. Xanana Gusmao and his Fretilin party was suspected of having marxist and communist ideology back then and the US was afraid it would spread in the region. Indonesian military regime back then was led by Soeharto who was put into power by the US government in 1967 to get rid of Soekarno, (Indonesia's first Presiden who was close to Soviet).

What you call moslem country, they give freely education, scholarship, food for poverty, salary for native public officers, they also built lot of infrastucture in East Timor especially Christo Statue which is the proudly mascot of the country. Then when the so call moslem country left East Timor suddently every thing changed, no food, jobless, riot and rebellion among them occured for many years. While the government still couldn't move on to develop but prefer to talk about politics and every time recall the tragedy of bloody demonstration at front of santa cruz church before referendum... again again and again...
