Have you noticed that the PP700SA barrel shroud looks almost identical as the Steyr LP10 competition pistol’s shroud? Nobody seems to mention this. The slots on the side are meant for barrel weights. And I noticed an accessory to attach a laser. I wonder if the Steyr accessories fit. Seems likely.

Hi I just got my PP 750 snow peak last week. Looking to increase the power. I was😢 told to cut the hammer spring. Second stage would be to adjust the regulator take the gun apart and the third one is to do some Drilling so there's three steps as far as I understand. I don't want to go too crazy because I want to keep the shot count around 40 with a 22 caliber. Probably around 14 fpe. What's your opinion?
@gregorkamensek3923
@gregorkamensek3923 6 ай бұрын
Hi. PP750 is not the same as PP700. I don't know the internals of PP750 but I cannot imagine how cutting a spring would help increase the power. Also, the shot count will drop quite dramatically if you increase the power.

Probably not. I purchased PP700, I might get PP750 for a loan but I am not sure if it will be possible. PP750 looks very nice but I doubt that it has as high power potential as PP700 because it uses pellet pusher and has shorter barrel...

@@gregorkamensek3923 well thanks to you my pp700sa is getting 24fpe with h&n 23gr slugs.. So the 750 is shorter than the 700sa? 750 has 250 bar on would that help with power.. Found out you can adjust the airflow in side the tube
@gregorkamensek3923
@gregorkamensek3923 4 жыл бұрын
@@bushwhookie1334 The design of the PP700 is that the barrel comes further back allowing the barrel to be longer at same pistol length. The 750 has the loading breach moved forward so unless the whole pistol is longer, it will have a shorter barrel. PP700 is regulated, not sure about PP750, but if it is, the higher pressure does not necessarily mean that it can achieve higher power. These are all assumptions, I might be wrong.

Herbert De Leon to be honest depends on what what type of shooting your planning to do paper punching .177 hunting at close quarters like rats .22 believe it or not I've taken squirrels at 10 yrds with one and do it regularly very accurate little pistol even better with an attached stock and a decent scope the biggest problem is regulator inconsistency and the trigger isn't very crisp some are a lot better than others but definitely worth the effort😀😀

The PP700SA is an excellent pistol that can take the folding stock, silencer (with adapter) and a 3-9x40 scope on low mounts, shoots accurately as well. Stripping her down reveals a regulator with 10 belleville washers (())(())((, plenum is in monoblock and exhaust valve body moves air up into the rotating loading port, 1mm TP for UK. Hammer spring is adjustable once you remove the handle as is the trigger, a concealed hole in front of the trigger allows access to the regulator via an allen key though this is fiddly. Folding stock folds to the side to be more compact though is wobbly, PP750 sliding stock is better. Likes JSB Hades and shoots consistently accurately with them. Pistol can be preloaded with a pellet and cocked when ready to fire, also easy to de-cock. All in all a fantastic little pistol that puts a smile on your face when firing 👍

If I remember correctly, you will reach "fully open" state and it will still turn. I have not tried to turn it further so I do not know if it has an end point. Hammer is different, you will not be able to go more to a certain point as you will not be able to reach the hex screw anymore as it will be too deep...

@@bushwhookie1334 What I described in the video is what I had in my hands. I do not know if the "green" in .22 will have shorter barrel but I assume it will. One thing is for sure, if the barrel is shorter, then the power at the same pressure will be lower as well as efficiency.
