Love the new Slaves. But man, I'm gonna miss this sounds with this angelic voice. Uhg
@GaryTha2nd4 жыл бұрын
I got nothing but appreciation for the bands behind the singers but this is Jonny Craig you won’t be as big as they were with him, unless they got another big name that’s bigger then Jonny. Use true Jonny fans will just follow him to a new band and only fuck with the old stuff. I’m a guitarist myself and hate when bands change singers should have changed and made a new band at that point the band slaves I know includes Jonny it’s the whole sound. Guess that’s how I see it

His voice was shot on this album, he was using heavily at the time, fast forward to Beautiful Death and he was healthy and had his full range back, but this song and album will always have a special place in my heart. It kept me alive during my addiction.

As an intsramenalist I think the only reason is to be pin pointed on the fact that these writers pale in comparison to will swan. By saying that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with slaves. There is only preference and with other mucisians jc has been associated with, there is this sense of expectancy that Jonny fans would expect that do t fall through. I love slaves personally but I can understand the quarrel

@breakfastenjoyer8 жыл бұрын
Igor A. S. this would have made the cut on MTV and VH1 music morning videos but they don't have that shit anymore. 90s is when metal went mainstream, and died off around 2005. This sound went back underground.
@abtwopoint08 жыл бұрын
Metal wasn't mainstream until the 90's? Try the late 60's, early 70's, with bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zep. I think you need to fact check your knowledge of musical chronology there, bud. Metal isn't dying off - indiscernible screaming is dying off. Only a handful of bands could make it work, the rest just sound stupid.

Miss the mellow sound of emarosa. Now that your in this band, those strong heart filled songs are left with emarosa's versus album. Emarosa; the band that you can sit back and listen to with a mate and admire the structure of each song and play them over and over. With this (in opinion) it feels more of a song you just have thrown into some playlist on your phone to listen to in the car. I don't hate this band, but I really wish he'd stay in Emarosa

Dude listen to Jonny Craig- "Jesus Died for You, Not Me". Probably one of my favorite things he's ever made.
@bryanbirmingham79458 жыл бұрын
He was in Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, did a lot of guest vocals with bands like Hands Like Houses, he was also in Isles and Glaciers. I love his voice.

+BrainSeepsOut i know what you mean lmao but thats every genre of music each song has a different message to it and there are differences if you have an ear for music

+Victor Ruiz His comment didn't hint that he didn't like the music, he's just saying that he thought a majority of the songs on the album were similar to this

+Omni Codex It's kinda a play on a Drake song. Jonny is a huge Drake fan and even the lyrics in this song "So Far Gone" is one of Drake's album names.

One of the area codes for Toronto starts with a 6 so "6" refers to Toronto

Well he was pretty much kicked out both times so nothing we can do there. Then again, he did have some serious heroin addiction back then. Glad he's clean now and supposedly less of a dick

@lucascollier87288 жыл бұрын
Felipe Vieira he's too much for every band he's ever been in. his vocal ability is always about 10 steps up from the quality of the band, and this includes emarosa
@jakemorse72328 жыл бұрын
Nah son. He and DGD were a perfect match. He just couldn't stay clean. Which sucks, because he'll never be in that band again.
