They say it's hot in the spotlight, too much for some So enjoy the shade Cause your sparks will fade Oh me? I'm doing just fine With the weight of the world on my shoulders They said it was over, they said I grew colder, they said it was over Cause we are, we are the real ones Will we refuse to run and hide? Watch us pour our hearts into every note While they fall to the side (Cause we are) Fight fire with fire Only lessons learned Rise above the ashes From the bridges burned Let's sing in a city of ruins Walk on through the trail of dirt Call it justice or call it Call it justice or call it revenge So love, have we suffered enough? So now we kill what we love Tore myself apart Before, before anyone else could Cause we are, we are the real ones Who will refuse to run and hide Watch us pour our hearts into every note While they fall to the side Cause we are Fight fire with fire Only lessons learned Rise above the ashes From the bridges burned Fighting fire with fire Only lessons learned Rise above the ashes From the bridges burned Tore myself apart Before anyone else could Tore ourselves apart To find out who we are Cause we are, we are the real ones Who will refuse to run and hide Watch us pour our hearts into every note While they fall to the side Cause we are Fight fire with fire Only lessons learned Rise above the ashes From the bridges burned

Other then emarosa's self titled album, this is Jonny Craig's best performance vocally. I know he's into the softer r&b stuff which is cool and all, but hardcore bands like this and emarosa give him much more opportunity to really show what he's got as far as range and power goes. And he brings such a unique style to it that's just sounds like nothing else out there. Simply amazing.

This song is so good. And that's what I came to this video for. To listen to the music. There's so much hate circuling this band lately. And everyone has there opinion but don't hate someone for enjoying the music. I've always been a Jonny Craig fan since Emarosa, and by fan I mean of his talent. His voice. This guy can sing better than alot of singers. Alot of people always say to me "oh you like Jonny Craig? He's a dick." And my response to that is always the same one. "I didn't realize we were talking about his personal life? If that's what you want to talk about, I'm not the person you want to talk too. If you want to talk about his music, I'm all ears."
@ianh25279 жыл бұрын
Emely Ventura 1) JC is literally the best singer to have embraced this planet 2) I can't understand why people call Jonny a dick even after all the nice things he does. Giving away free tickets to shows, taking time to talk to people, letting little kids sing on stage even if it's a song by a band he really hates. Whoever says he's a dick is just sad their crappy band ain't doing good at all lol.
@emelyventura83639 жыл бұрын
ian h I can agree with that. He's amazing. The guy can sing better than people in this scene and any other. I like to see that he's still going, and doing what he loves. Man, I've had so many people be like "that guy is a druggie or he sells fake laptops" and the list goes on. And I personally will just be like I'm not here to judge him and neither is anyone else. Way to many people live in the past.
@ianh25279 жыл бұрын
