Spoiler alert: he’s not really security. He’s an usher who brings guests in and out. They have actual real security. It’s a title Howard gave his friend Ronnie to allow him to be up in the studio/compound so we can see all the unhinged action

@@jagged6373Well he actually was security in the early years before Howard moved into the McGraw hill building, which has its own security team and he also got it intp his contract that SiriusXM must pay for his security before and after work. Ronnie and Howard both conceal carried handguns too, not sure if Howard still does.

They always treat Ronnie like a punk, but this OCD, anxiety ridden, rich ass dude wouldn't have had him for security for decades if he was a soft bitch. He saved Howard from a dude with a shotgun when he practically did nothing. It's in one of the books I believe. He shoved Howard inside the building and rushed him. Howard is so paranoid and everything else and had plenty of cash to get someone else. I doubt he would have kept him for nothing. They always make more out of his reaction than what is there. Howard would have been pissed too.
