Sir , which domain we should prefer considering AI. "Don't say it up to your interest" I just genuinely know , which domain of VLSI will be affected by AI which will eventually reduce the mass requirement of job roles. Also suggest which domain is favorable to AI , which can be replaced by AI end eventually its demand will increase day by day! Thanks 🙏

All the teams which don't have challenging work would be automated. For example; A SoC have so many parts and there is one integration team which just run the tool, check the results and inform the design/ verification team if found any bugs. So such type of roles would be eliminated or team size will get reduced. All the work be it Design, Verification or Physical design which sincerely require a human's perspective, complex debugging would not face issues at least for next four decades

Front end and Back end both have such roles. So, Once you are into vlsi job : You have to analyse the role. Sometimes companies give fancy names but work is not complex. Job roles such as RTL Design Engineer, Verification Engineer, R&D Engineer, Physical design engineer who actually do vlsi are very less prone to AI impact.

Nowadays I am Confused which playlist should I follow for VLSI physsical design course. Many people saying that Indranil sengupta's sir course has been outdated ! Should I follow one with IIT Roorkee sir's of Vlsi physical design with Timing Analysis! ? Pls suggest & please create a community where we can ask our questions to you !

I don't have telegram group but I try to address all the comments on my KZbin channel. Yes, Indranil sir' s course is very good to start with but that's not complete physical design if someone is focusing on Physical design or backend vlsi. He must do some projects and follow other resources for STA and all. I haven't watched course mentioned by you but if he is teaching STA well and you are able to grasp the concepts then go with it

What stops ,say, a country like china reverse engineering chip designs(the proprietary ones) then feed the data collected to their already advanced AI domain? ig this industry should be the first one to get fully automated.

VIT vellore gives good placement sometimes and sometimes it is risky so if not getting IIT / NIT / BITS then it's totally depends on you. It may be a wise decision and it may backfire also. Think about your goals/ financial factors and then decide
