Eh, this is so much effort to even set up that I doubt it's even on their (Gaijin's) radar. Hell, the HE on the BMP-3 is pretty much useless anyway 90% of the time, so I doubt Gaijin would try and nerf the one probable use case for it.

@ yes… think of it as he but less of an explosive range… I’ve even killed helis with solid shot and even the low tier Japan heat (which is awful btw) but fully possible… Soviet heat works a little well especially if you use anything with a 122 or higher but my favorite was with the bmp-1’s heat round

Man just picture being shot down by a M551 in a Ka-50 LMAO. I wonder what they perspective of indirect fire is, Like some will easily understand what's happening (eg that Lynx by the looks) while others would be screaming how, It's kinda like being subjected to ranging shot salvos in NF as while most fire a full barrel some just stream shells constantly across map & with accurate fire via ranging shot (scary against high RoF ship cannons).

the grenade launcher is secondary weapon, you have to select it first, check the control "select secondary weapon" or press Y-2-2 in battle

@@lebronjames-eb4pe dude, the dronemarker just shows you an arrow in which direction to shoot, not the distance to the target. If you are in a tank the map does not show the helipads, so you can't guess the range based on the map either, the distance shown inside of the drone is the distance between target and drone, but not tank. If there are hidden options that have to be turned on, which was the question, which one is it, because the option menu is a damn mess in WT.

Experience (remembering all distances or spreadsheet) 2.A typical case of false expactation, meaning there were a couple of kills shown but not the hundrets of misses. 3. blatand use of third party software for QoL rangefinding(aka cheats) Percentage propability is like 40/58/2

You can make a quick app on your phone to do it. Drone's range and heading to yourself, range and heading to the target, then range straight down to get your altitude, and you get the rough distance between yourself and target as a starting point to fire ranging shots. You can ask chat GPT how to do if you are unsure. If you want to get fancy you can get a voice recognition so you don't have to take your eyes off screen.
