I find the concept of indirect rocket lobbing in War Thunder problematic from a gameplay perspective. Let me explain before you dismiss this. While it’s undeniably cool to know that such tactics are possible and based on real-world strategies, I believe they are unhealthy for the game’s balance. The issue lies in how this tactic affects gameplay dynamics. Hard targets are generally unaffected due to the low yield of these rockets, but thin-skinned vehicles can be destroyed even by near misses. This is particularly problematic for anti-aircraft (AA) vehicles, which are often lightly armored at the ranks where rocket lobbing is most viable. AA vehicles are already at a disadvantage in many situations, and their primary role-defending ground targets from air threats-is hurt by this tactic. The extreme range involved leaves these vehicles with little to no counterplay. To address this, I believe a few changes are necessary to reduce the efficacy of rocket lobbing. First, greater dispersion on rocket strikes should be introduced. Currently, these strikes are far too precise for the distances involved. Adding more dispersion would likely mitigate the issue significantly while maintaining the tactic’s viability in a less dominant form. Another potential solution is implementing a growing cooldown for rearming. The repetitive cycle of taking off, firing rockets, landing, and repeating should come with a trade-off. For example, consecutive rearming could incur a stacking delay that discourages abuse but leaves traditional helicopter gameplay unaffected. Finally, I think the ability to monitor the entire flight of unguided rockets should be limited. After 2-3 seconds, the camera could automatically return to the player’s vehicle. I only agree with the last point you made. AA players tend to sit in spawn so all you need to do is aim your rockets there and you'll get a hit. If player actually moved out of there it would be segnificently harder for the enemy to find you in general.

@ he knows the distance and angle he needs to shoot at. He uses the capture points distance market and once he reaches a certain point he puts the red box at the bottom of his screen near the UI.
