Thanks for talking about the cat issues. I have the same problems with my cats.
@s7robe297 Жыл бұрын
The only problem with the otsu is the terrible feeling when you micro correct.
@Exten0 Жыл бұрын
Can you elaborate on what you mean by the terrible feeling? Nothing has stuck out to me personally as an issue, so I am curious on your input.

I have the razer strider and it seems to me that it has little control, which artisan mousepad do you recommend? the razer gigantus v2 has too much control for me
@imKufu Жыл бұрын
Well the Im bias towards the otsu but the pad your looking for is the zero. It provides alot of stoping power with medium static friction

Get a hein. Still has speed but the soft is more controlled.

My cat scratched my Hayate Otsu and left a pretty big cut in it :( I nearly lost my mind and immediately bought another one. Anyway around that same time my LGG Saturn finally came in the mail and I've been using that ever since🤦♂️ The worst part is that the cut wasn't even that bad and it was way over on the top right where I don't even use it. It just had to be perfect because of OCD.

I always get scared when my cat hops on my desk cus she did the same thing to my zero
@gordonneverdies Жыл бұрын
@@imKufu Yeah same. I actually roll mine up and put it in the box every night when I'm done. It always unrolls flat so NBD.

when you mean like a frosting coating do you mean like how for example the hien has a break in period for 3 weeks or so and then after that 3 weeks it stays that same speed or is it different
@imKufu Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s pretty much like that although I think it’s more noticeable than the hein
@Jettdmc Жыл бұрын
@@imKufu I’m really trying to decide which one to get out of the hien and the otsu what one would you recommend based on the pads themselves
@imKufu Жыл бұрын
@@Jettdmc the otsu is deffinalty the best pad ive tried so id go with that
@elbez8371 Жыл бұрын
In the Hien review you mentioned that the coating goes away but stays at the same speed after the coating comes off. Is it the same with the Otsu? Or does it constantly change speeds?
@Seemyhammer Жыл бұрын
They’re both uncoated pads so he just misinformed.

I got both the zero soft and otsu xsoft, from everything ive read the otsu should be perfect for me but I find the surface a bit rough? Also sometimes feels a bit sweaty as I do get sweaty palms, I dont really have that on the zero soft, but I want to like the otsu more? Do I try out the otsu in soft? Ive heard the otsu is best in xsoft though....
@imKufu5 ай бұрын
The thing with the otsu is that if you sweat you your forearm will stick to the pad(in a good way) and provide extra support, and I’ve only tried the soft otsu and the only xsoft pad I have is the zero so I’m not sure how a xsoft otsu would feel, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any. I still think the otsu is the best pad money can buy.

@@imKufu Thanks for the super quick response! Yes thats exactly what I noticed, its a whole new feeling for me though, feels like I have to wipe my arm each time, maybe just needs getting used to. Seems like I have the exact opposite, xsoft otsu and soft zero, but ill continue testing both and try to decide! Though most people are telling me to get the otsu, as the zero is basically just a qck, but we'll see, thanks! :)

Do u think jade dots would preform well on the otsu? As i mostly main jade dots on every mouse i own
@imKufu5 ай бұрын
ive neever had them so i got no clue tbh
@maillardjonathan83274 ай бұрын
jade are one of the fastest ptfe skates. They work on every pad. The glide will be faster on every aspect and you will have less stopping power unless you take soft. The obsidians are more suited for the specs of the otsu which are low initial friction and mid dynamic friction that keeps control of your flicks.

hey man, just bought the hayate otsu. wanted to ask you how to clean it as you clearly have some experience
@imKufu9 ай бұрын
Just put some soap on it in the tub then rub it lightly until the dirt comes off then dry it on a towel
