Good video. I feel you about the mid attendance. Even as a con goer, when there are less attendees it isn’t as fun to walk around.

I do hope for Cosfest that their team can rethink their approach and improve on attracting people to their future events.

Oh damn i also went to their Cosfest Garden, was the first I ever booth, mine was pretty much the same as urs as well for that event, mainly from PO as well, if I were to count onsite, it would be less than $70 sadly. But from then, it seems like its has not improved itself counting back the number of times I applied and went for Cosfest events since then and I thank god now I decide to stop going due to their lack of improvements

$70 on-site sales.... o.O Yea until they make big improvements, it is gonna be really difficult to justify going for Cosfest events nowadays - both as visitor or boother.

@@kuehmerlion ya first few times boothing, barely broke even, only until i learn how to do things then its starts getting better. I think ACE002 might honestly be the last better event from them, considering how terrible it is for Cosfest MBS, reason being it was after CNY, so there's better sales but worse footfall.

I was there for the performance, $12 (online purchase) well spent. Cosfest events are great for beginner to perform on stage too, for the experience just like artist boothing. I know about Maker's Quest, I didn't know about the other event clashing. Is there an updated list somewhere of all the local events?
@kuehmerlion3 ай бұрын
That's true! I don't pay much attention to the scenes outside of artist boothing, but it is definitely a plus that beginner performers and cosers can get some experience on stage too. Yihao over at x/twitter made a public spreadsheet that contain many ongoing and upcoming anime/art related events that is happening in SG. You can take a look here: x.com/Kazue_Nakano/status/1796963749963923658 I shall do a mention about this list in my next video too, so that more people are aware of it.

I was lucky to cover table on the first day, second day was terribly slow.

I had my fingers crossed but yeah, the second day was just not a good day for sales.

Oh no, watching this after I’ve applied for ACE vol 3 is a lil scary 😭😭 Hopefully they’ll improve more next year 🥲
@kuehmerlion3 ай бұрын
@@toastysqxiid Hopefully your experience with ACE003 won't be bad! If anything, I am very certain it will have a better reception than this Cosfest since the former will be held at Suntec (hard to go wrong) and in the early part of the year when there are less events around + people tend to be more willing to spend. 👍
@loyard11673 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear that the event was so lackluster. At least you made back your table cost!! Will you still be interested in boothing for CosFest and ACE in the future? And I hope that Maker's Quest goes well for you! I've never heard of it before, but since it's free admission I might go just to check it out
@kuehmerlion3 ай бұрын
I probably wont booth at Cosfest or ACE in the foreseeable future myself, from a sales and business stand point. I am planning to cut down on many of these artist halls, and unfortunately Cosfest/ACE are just not very time-effective for me. Yep, it is free admission and it is on the concourse level of Suntec convention (outside the halls)! If you have the time, come take a look this coming Saturday. 😊
