I am a recording artist for over 20 years, and I find many musicians in the same predicament. Being a musician is not the only creative job you can do while working on your music. It takes humility to acknowledge your financial deficiency. There is nothing like accepting where you are in life and making adjustments. Change is inevitable and it is the only thing we can be sure of. I enjoy Gail and her suggestions and how she helps see their financial reality. This couple should be grateful for the lesson and the 3K they received instead of being disappointed that they did not receive the 5K. Show less

@Nanette: Exactly. I went to elementary school with Larry Gowan. In ‘99 he was invited to join Styx, where he remains today. He has had great success, but he worked hard for every bit of it. He knew what he wanted from a very young age and devoted his life to working towards that dream.

It doesn't mean they're not nice people and have big dreams, but they aren't living in reality. You have to work hard to achieve your dream. You can't just sit on your butt and wait for someone to knock on your door and hand you the money. I'm sure they'd be fun to have as friends, but I wouldn't want to be financially responsible for either one of them. Sorry to be harsh, but I am older and retired now and keeping up the struggle to maintain on my retirement. Boy do I wish I had a chance with Gail a bunch of years ago even though I live in the United states. I would be so much better off. I'm rewatching all of her videos, and trying to implement every piece I can pick out of it that I might be able to do. I Can Feel The Strain starting to go away already. You take the expensive courses, and then try to rope in newbies to learn from your expensive courses. Yes, some people do actually earn a living if they can build up a steady clientele, but most never reach that level. Also, what makes her especially appealing to indigenous people? Does she have some in her ancestry? Has she had previous experience working closely with them in their communities?
