I never saw this before, but when I was a kid I had something like that, it was like a board which had a kind of pen attached to it, and when you press down onto the board there would be ink, and if you want, you can erase the whole thing (like the Etch a Sketch, you either delete the whole thing or continue)

magnetic board thing, right? Like late 90's or 2000's? My son had one and they sold extra magnet parts to "DRAW" certain shapes. He had the dinosaur kit, so you could put body, and legs and arms and heads and spikes or horns on them. Design your own dinosaur. They had other sets too. It was blue plastic with a red stylus held on with a red string. And to erase the whole thing there was a lever at the bottom you slid back and forth to clean the slate, they you can start over. It was good if you just want to practice writing, leaving a message, leaving notes for each other. Those kinds of toys never go out of style
