Thank you for reacting to this! I didn’t notice the unusual floor until you mentioned. I love that they are dropping these live versions. Just singing/percussion. No scenery, choreography etc. Of course they do nothing wrong! It’s just great to see a different way that they are performing. ❤

Pentatonix did this cover back in 2016 I believe. Back when avi was in the group. They do world tours pretty much every year so they have sang this song in concert hundreds if not thousands of times this is like a walk in the park for them.lol

I believe it's called an infinity wall, or something like that. The wall and floor don't meet. It's just one long continuous surface that curves toward the floor instead of ending.

I'm a big PTX fan too (yup, not just TW 😁) and they are next level! They won the 3rd season of the Sing off in 2011 and that's the same year that they became an official group. Mitch, Scott and Kirsty met in highschool and did some KZbin videos prior to that. I finally got to see them live a couple of years ago and they sound just as good. Check out some of their original music. I'd start with Coffee in Bed, Kevin's beatboxing is insane! Keep the reactions coming.

Been a big fan of PTX for a while now too and I finally get to go see them in December! Mitch and Scott met when they were about 9 years old while doing theater and that is when they became best friends. Scott and Kirsty met at about that age of 9 too. I think Mitch and Kirsty didn't meet until high school but I could be wrong on that one. They could have possibly met when they were 9 or 10 too.

@@SherylandFam It was Scott and Kirstie that met as freshmen in high school. Scott and Mitch met at somewhere between 8 and 10 in community theater(depending on which interview you listen to), and Mitch and Kirstie also met around 8-10 in community theater.

Thank goodness for KZbin and other streaming services or there would be no Pentatonix since the radio wouldn’t play their music. Now you can at least hear their Christmas music on the radio.

This is quite like their original video, mind you, they do this at many of their concerts so they have this perfected. Since you haven't seen the original (which you should) there are a few differences: there's no switching from left to right speaker, also, Mitch's vocals on the guitar section was slightly distorted in their original, the didn't do that here or onstage.

Thanks for the reaction.PTx also rerecorded Hallelujah. Check it out. Their old label dropped all non Christmas songs and refused to support them over a year ago. It has been a long n weary search but they have now signed under Republic records , the same as Angelina Jordan.
