I really like the fact that Akihiro’s taste in clothing hasn’t changed. I was hoping they wouldn’t do that, and it’s nice to see it looks like they haven’t! While Akihiro has realised the error of his ways, that doesn’t mean the clothes he likes has to change too. He’s still an eccentric guy; it makes sense that the clothes he picks and likes would be eccentric too. Sure they’re not to everybody’s tastes but that’s not what matters, what matters is he’s wearing and creating what he wants to create. I think his outlandish clothing styles reflect that.

Agreed. He doesn't need to change his eccentric taste, the only thing he needs to give away is his arrogance.

as a former 'gifted child' man do i relate to my boy akihiro....knew there was a reason he was my fave. sometimes you just have to look past what everyone expects you to do and realise the world is so much more than that, and your happiness is something that you have to find the hard way

The white outfit he wore in his dream world makes so much sense now. It was his outfit before he learned about Harajuku fashion as a middle-schooler! Very cool detail.

Akihiro is so cute. Glad he isn't the pretentious prick anymore, hope he will cherish his friends more and be sure to find happiness and modesty in his passion for fashion-making 💚

字がとっても綺麗！！！ファッションにハマった頃に成績が落ちたってことは今までとんでもなく努力してきたんだろうな…ただの天才じゃなくて努力でいろんなことを勝ち取ってきたからこそ、周りの才能と比べちゃって落ち込んでしまうんだろうな… これからも彼なりの努力で前に進んでいくんだろうなあ！かっこいいぞ！

考えてみればそりゃそうなんだけど、ただプライド高い妄想強め陰キャってわけでなく、過去があっての今のアキヒロだったんだなアキヒロがブランドたちあげて、3人でやっていったりするのかなそんな事があってもいいなって思う

Ooh, I really liked how this one provided more backstory into Akihiro's life, showing us why he is the way he is. Especially since his journey was not as straightforward as the first two customers, I thought this episode was fantastic supplementary material to the main story. Super excited for Lulu's story next!

I was not expecting that to be his backstory. I really like it. Him being reminded of Nina when he sees Ruru is precious too.

Love the writing for the scenarios/cast and how the customers really reflect on their past/previous actions after finding Nina's shop in these after stories!

Wow. That really explains a lot about his episode. I can't really relate to the "young genius" part, but I can definitely relate with feeling bitter that my expectations were not the same. While I didnt make fun of everybody else's work, I did find myself doubting myself and feeling like what I was wouldnt even matter or make a dent in the world. Next is Ruru... Im VERY curious what her story is about now that she encountered the Witch. It could explain her... crazy wish.

The background music is very peaceful, like how Akihiro is more at ease being not special, like he found a place in the society, and his real motivation : to create because it's fun, and not necessary to impress.

He always says he looks "lame and ridiculous", yet he still hasn't changed his outfit. I was hoping for that. He's hella attractive, but not in these "look how unique I am" type of clothes :

I think it's because he said his main thing was being eccentric. But yeah, I'm a little disappointed too. At least get rid of that ugly hat 😭😭

My thought was that they’d at least have him take off his glasses as a callback to Nina taking them off when interrogating him.

i mean, the main point of these is that the eccentricities of others aren't to everyone's taste, but something that one should love about oneself. the only reason he said he was lame and ridiculous because he hated his on eccentric self but used his insecurities to be judgmental to others, he still loves his style of dress. he's an eccentric guy with eccentric tastes and won't care if you like his style or not lol

I love the picture drama series! They reveal so much incredible depth to the characters through the parts that didn't make it into the animation

I figured that'd what his story was. I used to be the gifted child at everything but everytime I didn't do what people wanted for them, like drawing their faces when i preferred animals i just got mad at how everyone followed the one who could give what they wanted. I hated them for being "spoiled kids" but being an adult i kmow it's normal, so i don't have to be too bitter if i just do what i want without overextending

Sorry for my english I cannot believe how much this hit to me in a personal level In my childhood I was also a "gifted child" good notes, obedient girl, I was "unable of doing something bad" The reality was that I wasn't a prodigy, I've only pay enough attention and have good memory, nothing else My parents didn't directly put this pressure in my mind, but that little phrases that them and others say to me, like "You're gonna do great things" "You can't be wrong" "You are smart" "You're gonna make this family proud" make my mind a disaster Everything changed and become worst when I entered highschool, my notes decreased, I was unable of learn anything, sometimes I was just doing things without even "be there" other times I didn't wanna let my bed and cry because I wasn't smart, I was feeling like a deception, like a useless bag of garbage that don't deserve anything good that happened to me "I wish I could just disappear" I left everything and get stuck in time, regretting every decision in my life, hating myself and others for their "perfect" lifes and why I couldn't have one Today I wish that little me look for the help that she needed, that she talk to her parents about everything and the way she felt, because fortunately they would understand her, that she went to therapy and learn that the way she was feeling was normal and she did nothing wrong Today I'm still working on my mental health and moving from the time bubble that I made and enter the real world again This need perspective from Akihiro connect to a different level to me and now I feel that there's hope to me to change and become a better person, I'm crying right now writing this Thanks for this wonderful history and beautiful characters

He reminds me so much of Berdly from Deltarune, it's really funny but I find both of them really annoying! Well, this video did add a lot of depth to him :)

I cheer on him, sometimes you have to pass "that" test when you get in your 20s, to realice other people wishes and opinions both clash and support yours, and people who do not realice sooner than latter, t hey become arrogant adults past their 30s, but that is just my pov. Thanks to his realization, he could turn the arrogance into excentricism, sometimes easy to confuse, but the excentric has better capabilities to learn from others and adapt new ideas instead rejet them

Finally get his episode... The first two were pretty obvious and his I didn't quite get. Like he looks arrogant and I didn't quite get his episode...? I can't explain, but now it's given more context I understand his story now. Also I really liked the song in his episode, coz of the unexpected direction in tone? melody?
