I love your online website as well. My favorite is when I get canvases on discount and get them shipped direct to my residence. If I wasnt broke right now I’d see what I can get sometime. Alls I got is what I have. Which is plenty for now. By the time I run out hopefully I’m not broke anymore so I can afford more. All I want is to create art forever

Considering a lot of marker boxes similar to this are $30+, this is a great idea! It turned out really cute, especially with the paper lining ^_^
@Aliaselias727 Жыл бұрын
I like the handmade box a lot too, but given the fact that the 3 wood boxes cost 5 dollars each and there were more supplies needed like wood glue and colour spray plus the time spent with creating the box, it would've been a lot cheaper to buy a 30 dollar box. Nevertheless, this is an awesome handmade box!

@@ChloeRoseArt Much love and respect to you and all artists who put themselves out there and have to endure stupidity like that in their comment sections. I love how this turned out! A pity we don't have Target in Brazil XD. Using wall joint compound is a good solution to even out boxes (I use it a lot on paper/cardboard) before painting or covering with paper (usually pretty decorated origami paper). Next time try a small pallet knife to spread and even out the surface. If you do a good job evening out the surface instead of sanding you can use wet wipes just to give a finish and take the excess, it is a LOT less messy.
@Caeleinn Жыл бұрын
A used up plastic gift card works wonderfully for spreading the compound, too. Just in case someone doesn't have a pallet knife handy.

I loved your idea for the pen case made out of those wooden shelves. It came out so well. It'was a very good idea Chloe. I really think the paper lining really set it off nicely. It reminded me of decorating a dolls house lol. I would love to see you repurpose, upcycle, decorate, or renovate an item using art as the main medium. That would be fascinating to watch and it would give you a new avenue for your talent in art to explore. It would stretch your artistic muscles in a new way. Maybe visit a goodwill or charity shop and pick something up cheap to do something with. Just an idea. A possible change from the slightly limited options at Target eh. Your channel keeps getting more and more interesting. God bless you and your loved ones. Have a lovely weekend!

This project turned out great! I do some woodworking and tbh, for that MDF you could use the faster drying glue. It's C.A. glue on one piece (basically superglue) and you use a spray activator on the other. The bond is instant and you have one shot but it's used for house trim all the time (same mdf material). Saves SO much time 👍
