Apologies for this rambling comment, but here goes: I’ve read and do read, fairly regularly, the guidelines/laws on “copyrighted” art, designs, images, etc. We all know, the PRC (other countries do it too but they’re the biggest) violates copyrights as if they don’t exist. It’s my understanding that unless said “copyright holder” complains and demands that said violation(s) be stopped, nothing can or will be done about it. That applies, I think, to any copied items that look exactly like a very popular and licensed (copyrighted) product or image. Now for music and movies, we all know, YT & other social media platforms can be very strict where these are concerned. That’s b/c music licensees & movie distributors are very aggressive in protecting their products and must have had some sort of legal action against social media platforms for allowing their users to play or show their products without permission. (I think very short clips are allowed? I know I recently posted a short vid of a bee on a flower on Instagram. I was able to use a clip of the Beatles’ “Good Day Sunshine” song with my post. Why? Because it came from Instagram and they paid for the license for their users to use it. No way I could have gotten away with that otherwise. For said “copyright violation” noted by you, IMHO, there are just too many of these little things and they don’t represent enough of a violation (why bother with thousands of poorly made knock-offs?) for the license holders or YT to chase down or bother with. And all Chloe did was buy a bag of these. Nothing really wrong with that. It’s the makers who were in the wrong but no one is going to bother with stopping them.

I have about 20 of these on my desk. One of my employees brought an entire bag full to work and hid them all over the restaurant. They lasted about two weeks before we had to take them down. I took home about 1/5 of the bag full...when we asked him why he had so many? "I accidentally ordered seven times."

These are all very cute. I didn't see anyone else post about it so for anyone wondering Tortoises have more rounded and domed shells where turtles have thinner, more water-dynamic shells. Turtle shells are more streamlined to aid in swimming. One major key difference is that tortoises spend most of their time on land and turtles are adapted for life spent in water. Tortoises have club-like forelegs and 'elephantine' hind legs. Because tortoise are often larger and heavier, their elephantine hind legs help them move around and carry the extra weight! Turtles will have more flipper like legs, or webbed feet to make it easier to cruise through the water.

7:11 "turtle" is a general term that can be applied to both the land-residing and water-residing. Tortoise is the correct term for land-residing, but I believe "terrapin" is a word used specifically for the pond/river turtles. Anyway, "turtle" is a perfectly fine term to use.

The original was a bit greenish yellow. I did think at first they were they same color, but one of her cameras has different color settings that look more true to life and you can tell the difference on that one.

@@LinxSphinx Doubt it, unless she bought a package of used collected silicone squishies. Pokemon is a product of Nintendo and they wouldn't allow third party sales of their products 🤔 hence why I think it's an orochi. Orochis are more general so it would be free to reproduce since it's not a property anyone can own, just like regular animals.

The little turtles, where probably meant to be generic box, maybe a pond/river turtles. Certainly not sea turtles, and not really domed enough to be a type of tortoise. So, I say box turtle. Which are semi aquatic turtles, but spend more time land depending on species.

It goes to show how global everything is nowadays. Bananas in Pyjamas started off as a kids program in Australia in 1992 and are still popular around the world in 2021. Also The Wiggles started in 1991 in Australia and are also still popular in 2021. It’s a turtle Chloe as it has flippers for swimming a tortoise has legs for walking. Also, you could stick them on a skewer or toothpick so you didn’t have to touch them while painting. Love your work

Those bottles of fabric paint aren’t meant to be applied with a brush it’s supposed to be applied straight from the bottle (I use a similar brand of “puff paint” as it’s called should be able to find some @ Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or Walmart)

Actually the first paint I used wasn’t fabric paint - it was just regular acrylic paint. The fabric paint I used later in the video isnt puffy paint either :)

Chloe, I enjoy watching your videos and seeing you create your artworks! Have you seen any of Mira Byler videos? She has been creating some larger pieces and they are phenomenal! I hope you consider doing something like that your self. I believe that I would try dipping the figures in a larger jar of paint, maybe even acrylic paint? Use a toothpick stuck into the figure for a way to hold them or even a sharpened paint brush, covering the “hole” may be a problem but that is an easy fix for an Artist of your skills. Please take care, be safe and enjoy the rest of your day!

These are adorable! The tortoise is my favourite, but the squirrel is the best transformation imo The weird snake thing is a bad attempt at a pokemon called dratini. I think pink is the colour of the shiny version, but it's normally blue.

If you are getting small amounts of paint on you/ your furniture, I recommend keeping some (body safe) wet wipes at your desk to just quickly clean it off, especially when your worrying about something drying while your gone/the paint getting on your project. If you're worried about wet wipes being pretty environmentally bad, you can get biodegradable ones or use these wet toilet tissue wipe things (they degrade in water so they're all good too).

Chloe, I might be wrong but I think you might be the first KZbinr to paint on a jelly squishy. I can't remember anyone else doing it. Which will of course now become a trend. Wouldn't it be funny if Moriah Elizabeth decided to copy this idea and paint her own jelly squishies! 🤣 You do realise that if you ARE the first YT'ber to have done this, then you will have started the latest new trend. It's too exciting, I can't cope! Seriously tho, this was a really fun video to watch. I wanted to see more of them painted tbh but the ones you did were great. I especially liked the banana, and the tortoise/turtle creature, the first one you painted was so cute too. When you do the next batch why not use a piece of double sided tape to stick them on and stick them onto a water bottle cap or a cork or a a cutting board or sheet of glass. Or use white tack or blue tack if you have them and stick them that way. Either way should free up your fingers and save you mess on your poor abused desk lol.

I would start off and just experiment. The more things you try the easier it'll be to find your niche and style. You'll get the hang of editing and filming eventually. Don't worry if your first few videos aren't up to your standards even the really big channels started of like that. This is just my personal experience. Ps. Just enjoy it. That's the most important part. ❤️❤️❤️
