My papaw lived to be a few hours shy of his 97th birthday. He exercised like this everyday for as long as I can remember and he was always a strong lean man. Also, he drank one small glass of red wine every night. I say this because I believe in this day and age people think they have to go to a gym, when all they really need to do is just USE THEIR BODY not a machine. Good show man!

I do something similar every day but I think it's necessary to note these exercises shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes or nobody (who may be so inclined to be lazy) will do them. You want to make it enough that you'll do them everyday without fail and slowly increase over time, but not so much that you say "to hell with this shit" and stop entirely.
@pdannysan139 жыл бұрын

@srm65636 жыл бұрын
yeah nobody will do them. Tell this to the many people who hit the gym.... Also I think that 5min a day is fucking bullshit. This will make no difference at all! For lazy people I would recommend a short strength workout with bodyweight (push ups, pull ups, squats, dips). This should take no less than 15 minutes. This is the absolute minimum. Or do you really think that rotating your fucking shoulders will make you healthier and stronger. I call bs. Also the "strongman" is not even muscular.

Hi This is an excellent video. I have been doing similar morning exercises for years. I make it my 1st warm up training session. Ankle turns knee turns hip turns etc broom handle twisting, working and warming up all the joints followed by some light stretching and some abs work if your up 4 it. Usually takes between half and 1 hour, it keeps the body pliable I would definitely recommend this but add your own stuff and change it regularly to stop any boredom setting in. Do it before you eat. you can even have a coffee break and go straight into your weights session before breakfast.

2006 Recon Training at Ft. Know, KY incorporated this very work-out routine. In six months, I was thin and ripped. I should have never stopped.

acepc2 it's calisthenics. - all of this is still viable and still used. the newspaper is convenient because you can do that after reading\breakfast\before work? - crunches, calf raises, and stretches aren't weird to you =]

The courtly nod after each demo is 'manly' and the stache adds gravitas. I feel more manly for having watched this.

want to be strong and manly? go to gym, you dont need a super modern training apparatus honestly you only need : high bar squat for strong lowerbody bench press for strong upperbudy overhead press for strong arms pull ups with additional weight for manly hunter's back if you want to look like a man who can lift a heavy weight, you cant get away with this stuff in video, you just cant p.s you can make deadlift for entire body strength but it's dangerous exercise

+shota jolbordi The exercises in this video aren't meant to make you gain body mass or lean out your muscles. They are to wake you up in the morning and have you feel good throughout the rest of the day. Although they do offer slight muscle growth.

+shota jolbordi you have to do the deadlift, it's a great full body compound exercise. It's safe as long as you use proper form. People just need to check their egos at the door and practice with a lighter weight. Everyone thinks it's a back exercise when it's really a leg exercise. If squats are the king of exercises deadlift is queen. I'm surprised you left out barbell rows (the real ones, starting at the floor). That's great for the upper back and much easier to start with if one can't do a body weight pull up. Pull ups can be dangerous as they put a lot of stress on the shoulders.

This is our physed class from elementary school back in the 60's. Some of these excersises were gruelling. Interesting that the planking and stretching of today is somewhat reminiscent. Things cycle indeed.

Excellent video old school is the best and safest when it comes to exercise, simple and yet so effective that it is too easily overlooked by what you might term as a modern exercise plan. Well done I really enjoyed this 😉
