Hello, I am 36, I remember getting Starcarft on my birhday in 1999. I bloody hammered campaign and Brood War. Now, in 2023 I played campaings once again thanks to you Artosis and I loved seing just olive well ballanced game being represented by such a pro narrator as you. Thank you!

The zerg campaign is all about mass guardians and the protoss campaign is all about mass archons though, they are a bit different to competitive play. :)

Love this series!! Honestly the best part is that I have no idea how long the games will last. Makes every rush exciting to know it might actually work. Unfortunately I’ve got the feeling in most other games that any action early is pointless cuz I know if it had worked the game would not have been recommended. It’d be great to find more series like this. Or tournaments or somethin where we could just see all the games (good and bad). Makes it way more exciting.

I'm really looking forward to the later games in this series in particular. I hope we'll be able to see them trying to play mind-games with each other, and make modifications to their normal playstyles based on what worked and what didn't in earlier games in this series. I really hope Artosis can point some of these things out as they happen.

You cast as best as you can, I think it is okay to miss things. In shows like the KCM, there are 3 people finding things up in the map, you are just 1, so it is good.

For Protoss to win: Loads of canons, various upgrades, "hacking" through minerals to backdoor with high tech unit, research and throw down spells. For Zerg to win: "Haha Hydras go brrrr"

11:28 to clarify here, 1 worker per patch is the most each individual worker will mine, ie each worker is being 100% efficient. you mine more minerals faster by having more than 1 worker per patch, but each worker individually mines progressively less and less the more workers past 1 per patch there are

This series is great because I'm sure it's good practice for both players. You can also see why Zelot has a hard time advancing into ASL. If he fails his all-in he really struggles in the engagements. Still WP on both sides.

compare 6:00 vs 11:32 , cannon and zealot counts, getting a zealot out on the map, effectiveness of the corsair supply blocking. That's why brood war is the best

Why can't there be pro maps that aren't just 128x128, something custom sized like 128x256 and make unusable terrain to make a custom shape and size of a map rather than the same old boring 128x128 every game. Even if its just one concept map per season, something to change up the game.

Who said huge maps? Larger maps, with unbuildable unusable terrain and you can customize the size and shape of the map to something other than a square. Can have the rush distances the same, expansions further out?@@TRYCLOPS1

@@ArtosisCasts when you watch a falcon paladin video the textures are just better. It's most noticable in the buildings and water on the maps. I don't know if you intentionally make it look closer to OG BW. If you do this on purpose then whatever.

@@ArtosisCasts Maybe he means that Falcon Paladin uploads at 1440p? Though apparently Remastered also has a bunch of additional cosmetic settings, like "environment effects" (from reddit: "adds a few more random barely noticeable plants and doodads and things to the terrain to visually break up some of the repetitive tiling graphics, and also possibly adds animated reflective water to water terrain"), "real-time lighting", "smooth unit turning" (more sprite angles), and "shadow stacking" (unit shadows stack, so a muta stack has a darker shadow).
