I LOVE that Yoshi's Island remake idea. Seeing the Crayola art style modernized with current gen graphics would breathe new life into an already fantastic title. I'm all over it

My predictions for the direct: - A crossover game featuring lots of original Jetix characters (probably Kingdom Hearts IV or something else) - New version of Tomodachi Life, with a wild Mii maker (much like in Miitopia) - New Mario Party with the addition of Geno, Vivian and Pauline - Duelverse, the first fighting game where you control duelists from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe - An enhanced port of Mario Sports Mix, now with the addition of Geno, Mallow and a few others who didn't make it in the original - An action-oriented game centered on Geno (same treatment as Snufkin, but with combat) - Mario and Sonic in Paris

One more thing is I do think it's almost set that we're getting a Mario Party this fall/holiday season. One's sort of been leaked and we have gotten one every 3 years on the dot since Mario Party 9 so we are due.

I would LOVE to see a new Mario Baseball game! I’ve come up with my own predictions for that game too. I’d love to see these new Stadiums: New Donk Stadium Daisy’s Oasis Waluigi Stadium DK’s Beach Banana-za Bowser’s Crash Course Castle Peach Gardens Luigi’s Haunted Hotel Rosalina’s Lunar Lot I’d love these new characters: Rosalina Pauline Piranha Plant King Bob-omb Professor E. Gadd Dry Bowser Spike Mii I’d love to see new gimmicks and new items such as: The Thundercloud The Ultrahand (to catch balls) Stage-based hazards like the Angry Sun, mud spots, tornadoes, and low gravity.

I like the list... But I also don't think Nintendo would abandon the Switch install base cold turkey when the next system comes out, either (especially if the next system is backwards-compatible). Like Nintendo continued to publish games on 3DS until about 2 years after Switch came out.

Nintendo ruined Mario Golf and Strikers with the Free DLC model. I have no confidence they will make a good Mario Baseball

All I wanna see from the direct is a new Rhythm Heaven game. We haven't seen anything from the Rhythm Heaven series since the 3DS and with the shutdown of the 3DS's eShop, not even the likes of Megamix is downloadable or playable anymore... I haven't played a single Rhythm Heaven game in my life, but I LOVE the series and would LOVE to be able to play at least ONE of the games sometime in the future. If not one of the old titles, then DEFINITELY a new one for sure! Any of the Parodius games on the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service would also be a huge plus! And finally... STILL hoping for the retro Disney Mickey Mouse collection containing Land of Illusion, Castle of Illusion, World of Illusion and Mickey Mania - the original SEGA Genesis version, NOT the crappy PS1 version! "Mickey's Wild Adventure"? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

My predictions: - We begin with Kid Icarus: Uprising Remastered - A new Warriors game; it will be either Xenoblade Warriors or a new Fire Emblem Warriors based on Engage. - Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World port - Either a new Mario Baseball or a new Mario Party - Tomodachi Life - Metroid Prime 2 Remastered shadow-dropped (it will be digital only; but it's going to be bundled physically with Metroid Prime 3 Remastered in December. We won't know that yet though) - Pikmin 4 DLC - The second-to-last announcement is another Zelda 2D Remake by GREZZO; but it will be Spirit Tracks. The game will be built from the ground up. - The "one more thing" is Metroid Prime 4 teaser trailer and a 2025 date. (it's going to be a cross-gen title with the Switch 2) - Banjo-Tooie, Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day for NSO as a post-Direct announcement (for Conker, a new M-rated NSO app must be downloaded. This already happened in Japan with Jet Force Gemini)

Especially with the "pixelated art style"… Now if one of the old classic sidescrollers was redone with the Super Mario Bros. Wonder style or something adjacent to that… that would get my attention. But I don't think it'd ever happen. I'd love to be wrong, though.
