DUGOUT LIFE: Hiding in a HUGE DUGOUT from BROWN BEARS - Building an underground SHELTER

We've come to the dugout! Our camera trap showed that a huge brown bear was wandering nearby! And now we have to hiding in our HUGE DUGOUT from BROWN BEARS!
We continue to build a dugout and there is a huge adventure ahead of us!

Scotland has something that's more dangerous than bears. They normally walk upright though and are said to be mythological. They aren't real according to most people. Yes they are. This man has a great hunting channel and another one too about these things. His name is Steve Isdahl and he is a professional hunting and fishing guide. His channel about howtohunt is great. His other channel is the best of its kind according to many people. It's all about The Facts. You probably won't believe it is true. I don't blame you. That’s unnerving seeing that bear charge the camera. The smell of food will bring the bears around for sure. I live in black bear country, and exited my garage to see a bear 50’ away from me. Luckily, I backed into the garage and was safe.

im also from Alberta, you are right there are tons of bears here, they are very intelligent, incredibly fast and they are very bold and can turn on you on a dime if they feel threatened. i’ve had a couple close encounters before with some big bears and it made me realize that my Remington 870 12 gauge isn’t gonna cut it in a self defense situation. rifle season starts soon and i’ll be taking my new Marlin 45/70 with 200 grain Hornady penetrator rounds when i go hunting with my father in law, just in case the worst case scenario happens.

Oh please lol I've been going into the bush for 20+ years. Bears aren't to bother. It's the asshole mountain men who comes by at night and steals things from you. We caught the guy trying to steal a shotgun after he woke us up by accident trying to steal a camo tarp. Fired 2 warning shots of bird shot at him. He ran off into the bush.

That cool...a built in well. I know this well was unintentional, but it is a source of fresh water. This could be a problem when you're away back in civilization. A possible solution is a solar powered sump pump.

That is some amazing footage of that brown bear charging the trail cam!! Hard too believe a 600lbs big bear can charge so fast, actually it's very scary because if that bear charged any human like it just did on your footage nobody would have a chance of survival??? Maybe that grizzly is the fastest bear I've ever seen , I'm pretty sure there are some important people that would be seriously interested in that trail cam video my friend's? I find that the cheapest, most effective bear deterrent, is simply a fire cracker in a soup can. Even better, cut off a propane canister and use that. It’s a loud bell, that will basically ring the bell of any thing near by, so plug your own ears.

You owe it to your dog to use these obvious building skills, to build a safe door. Always reinforce the ceilings in dugouts. Moose will walk on the roof and fall through and kill a person inside because they weigh as much as a small car

Love the Dugout. However, I will say, I don't know how you men sleep on such a hard surface. Have you considered a camping mat for sleeping at night, or a small inflatable mattress? Yeah I was thinking same thing. Where I am has recently had weeks of rain and mold developed so quickly inside a well ventilated home. Can’t be good for long term living, however I think these guys just build and move on.
